Terrible butler service. No service actually.

The HALCYON Hotel in the Maldives truly offers exceptional value for money – its facilities, service, dining options, scenery, and activities are all outstanding! The final farewell was so ceremonial that it truly moved me. The sea view is truly perfect, and the spacious rooms in the waterside house are both comfortable and highly private. The cuisine in every restaurant is excellent, with outstanding seafood offerings. Everything was highly satisfactory. What impressed me most was the enthusiastic and attentive service of butler Nattu, who meticulously arranged all our activities and promptly addressed every request we made. Chinese chef Nico was exceptionally considerate; concerned that we might be unaccustomed to Western cuisine, he specially prepared numerous dishes with China-inspired flavors. Diving instructor Afeef demonstrated great responsibility by providing detailed explanations of diving techniques and guiding practice sessions. Room service staff Alam and Adjio maintained their rooms spotlessly clean daily. All employees on the island were warm and courteous, offering proactive greetings whenever encountered, delivering exceptional service. In summary, Haixi Hotel left a profound impression on me, and I will definitely return in the future.

A place close to heaven, there is only breathtaking sunshine, beaches, sea water and countless fish. With the meticulous care and attention of the staff, they have considered everything for you. You just need to relax. In particular, I would like to thank the butler Nattu and the Chinese chef Nico for their careful care and considerate service. This holiday will be unforgettable. If I have a chance, I will come to relax again.

We had an amazing stay at The Halcyon Private Isles Maldives and truly enjoyed every moment of our trip. The resort is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, but what made our experience truly special was the people. Every staff member we met was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They genuinely cared about making our stay memorable, and their warm hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A very special thank you to our butler, Natuu, who was always attentive, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Everything was arranged seamlessly, and we really appreciated the care and effort put into every detail. We would also like to thank Jade at the restaurant for the wonderful service and friendly conversations, Afroj for keeping our villa spotless every day, Prachi for the fantastic yoga session, and Chef Nico, who prepared delicious meals and was always happy to accommodate our requests. A big thank you as well to all the other staff members whose names we unfortunately didn’t catch, including the wonderful dolphin cruise crew, shuttle boat crew. Everyone we met greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel so welcome. Thank you all for creating such unforgettable memories for us. What an absolutely delightful stay — this island truly embodies the meaning of "a home away from home." The people here are genuinely warm and down-to-earth, and I was especially touched by how many of the staff are talented artists; you can feel the thoughtfulness and heart in every interaction. A special shout-out to Chef Nico, who went above and beyond for our Chinese palates. He completely spoiled our "Chinese stomachs" and made us feel surprisingly at home in a foreign land — familiar, comforting, and utterly indulgent. To Harpal, my son's chess buddy and true friend — thank you for being such a kind, warm companion throughout our stay. And to our butler Muki — attentive, responsible, and genuinely caring. He went out of his way to throw a belated birthday celebration for my daughter and even organized a hermit crab hunt for us, which the kids absolutely loved. The little painting and handwritten card from Afroj were such a sweet, personal touch. The excursion was spectacular — breathtaking scenery and unforgettable moments. We are guests of Room 19 in the Sand House. The room is very large and beautiful, and the food is extremely delicious, especially the Chinese cuisine. Chef Nico has excellent cooking skills and is very talkative. He is also very friendly. During our conversation, we learned more about the hotel. The snorkeling environment was great and we saw two turtles.

The halcyon Private Isles is an impeccable staycation destination. My wife and I chose it for our honeymoon after carefully comparing our options. It turned out to be the perfect choice—with fantastic snorkeling right from our doorstep, as well as tranquility and privacy. Our butler, Mariyam, was thoughtful and arranged all the special touches we needed for our honeymoon. We also had the pleasure of dining on several special fusion menus prepared by the halcyon’s Chinese chef, Nico.

We are guests from Room 32 in the Halcyon private isles.Special thanks to Chef Nico! As a Chinese cuisine chef, he masters authentic traditional flavors perfectly. All the dishes he cooked are delicious, full of genuine home-style tastes. We really love his wonderful Chinese food!!

The Halcyon is a special place, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. The villas are incredible — incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and offering so much privacy that they genuinely feel like a home away from home. The private pools are wonderful, and the bathtub is absolutely enormous — big enough to fit five people! The house reef is one of the very best I have experienced, with incredible underwater beauty right on your doorstep. The island itself is beautiful, and every corner of the resort feels like a little piece of paradise. What really makes The Halcyon stand out, though, is the thoughtfulness of the team. There are so many lovely personal touches and thoughtful surprises that make your stay feel truly special. They even made my dream wedding cake, which completely blew me away and made the experience even more unforgettable. The spa is amazing, and the therapy team deserves a special mention for making the experience so wonderful, thank you PC! From the stunning villas and incredible house reef to the heartfelt service and unforgettable wedding memories, The Halcyon exceeded all expectations. It is a place that makes you feel at home while giving you the most extraordinary island experience. I had an amazing stay and would love to return!
