Residence Inn by Marriott Montgomery Downtown

Nice friendly staff. Clean rooms, breakfast was great! Very close to many attractions.

This is a brand new hotel 1 block from Legacy Museum and a 10-15min walk from downtown (e.g. The Alley). It's a really excellent place, rooms are very spacious and well-equipped, very nice breakfast.

Stayed one night in the way to another location and must say this was a very nice and spacious hotel. The rooms were clean and very large. The breakfast was great inn the morning. The location was nice for our site seeing in the next day before heading out as it is right next to The Legacy Museum and very close to many other points of interest. I will say, the walls are a bit thin and our neighbors were slamming their door quite a bit inn the evening and the people above us seemed to be running a race back and forth for about 30 minutes right about the time we laid down for bed but that's most hotels for you anymore. The kitchenette was a nice addition as we had some things to refrigerate and I think would definitely be useful for a longer stay. Self parking was a bit tricky using the app to get out as the scanner didn't want to scan but we got it eventually. Would recommend.

the room had a bad smell and wasn’t clean enough. That area around the hotel was not good at all

I loved staying at this hotel for work, it was like my own apartment!

We had to call to find the hotel, it was not where maps said it would be. I had to wait 10 minutes to check in, the receptionist could not find my payment information. We were charged $23 to park though it was not disclosed. They wanted to charge us another $100 for our 15 pound dog but waived it after I argued there’s also not disclosed. THEN we got to bed and a train goes by every hour or so and blows its horn LOUD. The AC sounded like a truck engine every time it kicked on. Room 503, don’t take it from me, check it out. All of it. Requesting a full refund.

Here’s a polished, positive review you can post: ⸻ I had a fantastic stay at this new hotel! Everything felt fresh, modern, and incredibly clean. The room was very spacious — much larger than I expected — and thoughtfully laid out so it felt more like staying in a stylish Airbnb than a typical hotel room. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. I especially appreciated how spotless everything was — you can tell they take pride in maintaining the property. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, roomy, and comfortable place to stay that’s near the Legacy Museum and within walking distance of Montgomery’s downtown stores and sites.

The rooms was spotless, an the staff was very accommodating. Will definitely be back again.

Careful where ya park
