Hôtel Version Maquis Santa Manza

Amazing jem of a hotel, hidden in the maquis, beautiful sights of the Corsican nature. The breakfast is very generous with a home chef preparing fresh pastries and eggs. The hotel offers a buggy ride to the beach for free, as well as bicycles. The chef is available to cook lunch or dinner, booking required. The pool and jacuzzi overlooking the wilderness are amazing. Finally, free yoga sessions are offered some mornings. Would 100% return.

We only stayed for one night, but somehow it felt much longer, simply because we had such a wonderful and relaxing time here. The hotel is beautifully located in the countryside just outside Bonifacio. It is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet you can reach the town very quickly and easily. The entire property is spacious, modern, beautifully designed and extremely well maintained. Even when other guests are around, it never feels crowded. It has the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of a true boutique hotel. Our room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the pool, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The infinity pool itself is a wonderful place to spend time, looking out over the surrounding landscape. There is also a lovely covered area with a jacuzzi. The food was another highlight. We had a delicious à la carte lunch by the pool, and the breakfast the next morning was absolutely outstanding: high-quality ingredients, beautifully prepared, with so many homemade and freshly baked options. Nothing felt generic or mass-produced. But what really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone we met - at reception, in the restaurant and around the hotel - was exceptionally warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. The service felt very personal, almost like being welcomed into a family. They helped us with everything from restaurant recommendations to ideas for exploring the area and made us feel completely at home. It is honestly difficult to pick just one thing we loved most. This is a very special little hotel and the perfect place for a peaceful and romantic stay as a couple. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would absolutely come back.

We had a great stay here, and the team was incredibly nice! The bikes provided were also a great touch, making it easy and enjoyable to cycle to a nearby beach. 😊

This hotel is amazingly beautiful, perched on a hill overlooking the citadel of Bonifacio. The staff if friendly and welcoming, looking after our every need. I did not catch the name of the lady who originally greeted us and showed us around, but she made us feel special. I would like to recognize and thank Camille, Alexis, Leo, Charles, Annabelle, and Louis who went out of their way to be of service. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out. The property, the pool, the restaurant, and our room were all above our expectations. We have already recommended Version Maquis to many of our family and friends.

Amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Our room, the pool and jacuzzi were fabulous with views across the maquis to the sea - sunrise from our room was spectacular! If you want peace and quiet this is the place but only 10 minutes in the car to Bonifacio. Superb breakfast as was dinner (ordered in advance). The trip to the beach in the hotel’s 4x4 buggy not to missed!

From the welcome to good by everything was brilliant. Elana and Rodigue were wonderful, professional, helpful, friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Excellent location and hotel, all very well. The beaches near this area of Corsica are the best of the Island. Relaxing swimming pool in a beautiful surrounding of hills and sea in the distance.

Outstanding property. Very tastefully decorated. Eco design of the building ensures a small footprint in the environment. Very professional staff. Room was spacious , comfortable and elegant .

It is a small, remote hotel with a very high design standard, beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was prepared with lots of love - and so were the optional meals in the evening called table d'hôte. Even our two dogs were warmly welcomed.
