Chaweng Cove Beach Resort

We loved everything! The hotel has its own private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas (though sometimes there weren't enough loungers on the beach, so we'd just relax by the pool). Breakfasts were a bit repetitive, with only the soups changing, but no matter what time we went, everything was always well-stocked (omelets, fried eggs, boiled eggs, vegetables, fruits, soups, pastries, bread, cheese, rice with stewed meat and vegetables, bacon, and sausages). The hotel grounds are beautiful; I recommend getting a garden bungalow, as you'll have your own gazebo and a drying rack for clothes. The hotel provides rubber slippers and a beach bag with towels. Right next to the hotel is a 7-Eleven, and on the same side, there's a fruit stand with really great guys working there. We ordered fruit smoothies and sliced fruit from them, and they always treated us to bananas or watermelon while we waited. The hotel offers scooters for rent (located on the property) and also helped us rent a car at the best price with insurance (I compared prices on all platforms and was surprised that the hotel's price was better). They delivered the car to the hotel and picked it up there too. There was a 5000 baht deposit, and we had no issues whatsoever from the rental company; they returned our deposit and we shook hands.

Cons: 1. The biggest issue: the king-size bed is made up of two single beds pushed together, with two mattresses and two mattress toppers. This setup doesn't create a single, unified surface, resulting in a sloped gap in the middle. If you're sleeping three to a bed (with a child) or as a couple cuddling, someone will end up in that gap. I slept like that for all six nights and woke up with a sore back. This is the biggest drawback of this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it if this is a critical factor for you. 2. The bed linen and towels often look worn out (not pristine white). 3. The doors (entrance, bathroom) have sagged. There's a finger-width gap between the door and the frame. This means all the mosquitoes will be in your room. 4. There's no ventilation in the room at all. The only window is fixed shut. So, to get fresh air into the room, you have to live with the door open. 5. The family deluxe bungalows are separated from the road by a wall. You sit on your veranda and stare at this wall. It feels like being in a concrete box. If they put some ivy on it, the view would be much better. 6. The breakfasts are average; there's room for improvement. There's no variety. The croissants are dense and cottony, and the muffins are heavy. There's no choice for children at all – they should add waffles and pancakes to the menu. The omelet, however, is tasty. 7. The bungalows are clustered together, with little privacy between them. 8. They don't set up tables on the sand (on the beach) in the evenings – it would have been nice to have that for a romantic dinner. 9. The hotel lacks Thai soulfulness in its decor and small details. Pros: 1. Well-maintained green grounds. The gardener does a great job. 2. Good room cleaning. 3. The hotel grounds are clean. 4. Good beach. Good sun loungers (though some are already torn at the feet and breaking down). 5. Beautiful restaurant (veranda area). 6. The family deluxe bungalow is spacious (we stayed with an 11-year-old child and it was comfortable). 7. The bungalow is very bright, with many good light sources. 8. Good service at reception. 9. They congratulated me with a cake for my birthday – a nice touch.

Only a 15-minute walk to the shopping mall. • Room: Spacious, clean, and modern. Features a large, comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi. • Cleanliness: Top-notch. Rooms are cleaned daily, and everything sparkles. • Staff: Very friendly and responsive. The front desk staff are always helpful, and service in the restaurant is quick. The housekeepers are all lovely. Everyone smiles and greets you. • Food: The buffet is varied, always offering fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs. Delicious and plentiful. We loved everything about our stay! This was our second time at this hotel, and we'll definitely be back for a third!

A wonderful place. We booked a garden villa and were right by the beach, next to the restaurant entrance. The room was spacious, with two twin beds pushed together to form a king-size bed. All toiletries were provided, and there was plenty of water. We stayed for a week and didn't want the bedding changed, but despite our objections, they changed it anyway. The in-room internet wasn't working upon arrival; they fiddled with it for a while but eventually fixed it. Despite the limited space, there's a lot of greenery on the property. Breakfast was a bit weak. The beach is fantastic; they'll add more sun loungers at any time if all are occupied. There weren't many people by the pool as the water was too warm. Chaweng Beach itself is great; a stroll along the soft sand at the water's edge is a real pleasure, about 7 kilometers round trip. We had a wonderful stay.

Traveled with my daughter and stayed in a 48m2 bungalow, which was great! Everything was good; they cleaned daily and on request, and everything on the list was provided. But the main delight was the lush, green grounds and the restaurant with a superb view/access to the beach! An excellent hotel in terms of value for money! Breakfast was a bit average, but there was plenty: egg dishes made to order right in front of you, fruits, vegetables, hot food, cold cuts, drinks, and coffee from a machine! I recommend this hotel; the location is fantastic, with a 7/11, fruit stand, and massage places nearby!

Excellent hotel! We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor, and it was a mere one-minute walk to the sea. The breakfasts were wonderful with a sea view, and you could also order food and drinks from the hotel's beach cafe throughout the day – everything was delicious! We bought tasty smoothies from the hotel beach every day; everything was perfect. The room had all the amenities: a fridge, a comfortable bed, fresh linens, and towels. Each room also came with beach towels that you could put into a beach bag, which was also provided in every room – super convenient! The hotel has its own private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, and there was always enough space. The beach itself was clean, quite spacious, and not crowded. There were low tides, but it wasn't a big deal; you could still swim comfortably after walking a little further out. Near the hotel, there are two 7/11 stores, plenty of massage parlors, and cafes. Central Samui shopping mall is a 20-minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again next time!

This hotel is great for a quiet getaway. There are two 7-Eleven stores nearby, and a shopping mall is within a 20-30 minute walk. The breakfast offers a good variety, so you'll always find something to eat. The staff is friendly, and the room has all the amenities you need (robe, slippers, toiletries).

Excellent beach with all amenities within walking distance. The airport is a 15-minute drive away.
