Days Inn by Wyndham Torrington

overall hotel needs upgrades. very poor condition. desk clerk at check in was bad. two times issues card key that did not work. finally moved us to a different room.

The best part of this stay was the parking. The staff were nice enough. Checking in was easy enough. I found a used towel behind the bathroom door, a hand towel that was definitely used and the bed was squeaky and had a very firm mattress, did not make for a comfortable stay. It's definitely dated, could use an upgrade. I didn't have breakfast there.

The good: The sheets were clean and the staff was pleasant . The bad: The hallways are poorly lit; think “The Shining.” No bath mat and no iron. I had to ask for an iron at the front desk and I was promptly provided one. The bathroom was not cleaned after the last occupant left. The shower curtain had a blood stain and the wall had a booger stuck to it. There were cracks on the vanity and it’s all very outdated and could use some repairs.

Room had some debris on the floor and then cleaner came to the room, they only removed some garbage and changed towels. Bed also wasn’t made when cleaning happened

Back door of the property smelled like a giant ash tray with people constantly smoking. No amenities to speak of. During our 4 day housekeeping never came into the room. Every day I needed to ask for fresh towels. Desk and bathroom vanity had sticky areas, very dirty disturbing. Breakfast was nothing to write home about.
