Wu Ji

I'm probably quite a picky person, and my travel habits have always leaned towards the controllable quality and baseline standards of branded hotels. However, because I wanted to experience a more authentic Quanzhou, I chose Wuji over Qixu Bell Tower this time. After staying for two nights, I felt extremely satisfied with everything from the overall aesthetics, material selection, and spatial ambiance to the service quality, and even the temperature and humidity. The next time I come to Quanzhou, I'll likely choose to stay here again, haha.

An absolutely fantastic experience, highly recommended to anyone visiting Quanzhou! The location is super convenient, yet it's nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the old city center. The guesthouse itself is simply furnished, but with top-notch quality and great taste. What truly stands out, though, is the service – attentive yet perfectly discreet.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the customer service was excellent and attentive. The breakfast had a homey feel, and the complimentary afternoon tea was a delightful surprise. The hygiene was impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel is directly opposite West Lake Park. While it's a bit of a distance from West Street Scenic Area, it's not too far. The hotel's interior design has a really nice vibe, and it's clean and spacious. The breakfast offered was also quite generous for a buffet.

This guesthouse is a real gem! You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail, from the garden to the common areas. The service was so warm and attentive; they even checked if I'd arrived safely at my next destination after I checked out. It's right across from West Lake Park, which is a great spot to breathe in some fresh air, and it's not far from West Street or Kaiyuan Temple. Definitely my top choice next time I'm in Quanzhou.

Really loved the vibe of this B&B. It's right across from the vibrant West Lake Park, and super close to West Street and Kaiyuan Temple. You can easily rent an electric scooter or catch a 'little white car' (shuttle) right next door to get around. The lobby is absolutely stunning! I'll definitely be back to stay again. The afternoon tea was delicious too!

I stayed here in mid to late March but have been so busy I haven't had time to leave a review. However, I’ve been meaning to give this place a glowing review, especially for its outstanding service! The breakfast staff were proactive, offering to make coffee, and the kitchen prepared delicious local dishes like rice noodles and fish cakes. The front desk staff went above and beyond even Japanese service standards. They contacted me in advance, greeted me at the door upon arrival, and helped with my luggage. What was even more thoughtful was their proactive recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and insights into local customs and culture. The hotel facilities are very modern, and they thoughtfully provide amenities like eye masks, earplugs, and mouthwash. Furthermore, for guests who missed afternoon tea, they kindly accommodated by preparing and wrapping snacks like 'ma lao' (a local pastry) in cling film, delivering them to the room so guests could enjoy these local delicacies no matter how late it was. As someone from Shanghai in the south, I'd never tasted anything quite like it. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations in every way. The decor is incredibly refined, a perfect example of understated elegance. From the moment I stepped in, the lovely scent was noticeable, and the room always smelled wonderful (I even asked for the diffuser link!). The guesthouse's location is also excellent – it’s quietly tucked away but still conveniently close to all the action. Getting around by car is easy, and there are public transport options too. The service was outstanding; every staff member was so friendly and proactively offered assistance. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of local Quanzhou specialties – you can try them all at once! The afternoon tea was also fantastic. I highly recommend experiencing it! (The only downside is that the soundproofing is quite poor. For two days in a row, I was woken up around 7 am by the sound of water pipes, and you could clearly hear people talking in the lobby. 🥹

Had a really great homestay experience, it actually changed my perception of homestays. While over a thousand (CNY) during peak season is a bit pricey, at around 600 it would be excellent value for money.
