Yangshuo Mengyuan Shanju Hotel (Xingping Ancient Town Branch)

The hotel is quiet and away from the main road. The room is spacious and has mountain view.

It was super easy to stay here as a foreigner. The hotel manager was pretty friendly and helpful. He could speak basic English, and he even sent me a text like a guidebook in English with all the cool spots nearby and their locations on a map. It was so convenient, I could easily find the best places. The hotel also has e-bikes you can rent daily, which is great for getting around easily. The room was clean, and everything in it was new. Even though it's close to the old town, the hotel is in a quiet area, so it wasn't noisy at all.

We stayed in the panoramic mini room, it was so beautiful and looked just like the pictures! So many places to enjoy the views on the deck and it was beautiful in all weather, especially rainy because you can appreciate the nice scenery without having to go outside. The host was incredibly helpful with getting around, letting us borrow bikes, use fridge and giving us advice. Very friendly and lovely family. Would definitely come back here to stay again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel location. I 100% recommend splurging on the rooftop room. It felt like a movie. The location is a ways from where the Moon Hill and stuff is, but it was worth it for the location and great nearby restaurants.

Large room for 4 pp. Many electrical outlets. Bright and clean laminate wood floor. Mattress is good, not too hard, not too soft. Bath is large with all convenience (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, large bath towel) and seating toilet (not squatting type, this is my premium concern) as well as half glass wall separating the shower from the rest. Bathroom has suffcated smell but it's gone when the small window is open. Staff is very helpful and nice. Electric scooter is rented out for 20 RMB/day which is very convenient to scout around the area and for dining out. Last but not least, the room rate is very competitive on Trip.com. I plan to come back here to stay at least 2 nights to visit whole area as I encounted the rain the whole time I came here. Hotel is located in a large corher of the street with easy car access. Highly recommended.
