The Boutique Hotel

The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk from St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. Although the hotel is in a very old building with an antique elevator, the street outside is very pleasant and safe. There's a grocery and chocolate shop just a 3-minute walk away near the Vatican, and a delicious gelato place right around the corner. Aside from the room being a bit small, the cleanliness was also acceptable.

Really liked the hotel! The staff were very kind, they waited for us and were always in touch. Daily cleaning. There's an elevator.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The location is top-notch (near the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo), and you can see the dome of St. Peter's Basilica from the window. The room has a kettle and a decent bathroom. However, the bed and especially the blanket 😭😭😭 were terrible. It was horribly dirty, tucked between two sheets, so it kept coming undone, and it was really scary to lie in such a bed!!!! 😡😡😡 The soundproofing in the room was non-existent. You could hear everything happening in the hallway with incredible clarity in the room. The reception doesn't operate at night. But thanks to the charismatic manager who checked us in during the day, it didn't matter: we left the room keys at the front desk, and he took care of our airport transfer (called a taxi, everything worked perfectly on time) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏👍👍👍. Overall, I recommend the hotel. If they replace the blanket, it could easily be a 5-star.
