Sydney Central Hotel managed by The Ascott Limited

The service was excellent, and they even allowed early check-in, which was very thoughtful. Unfortunately, there was a long hair on the bed, which was a bit of a hygiene минус, but overall it was still good. Oh, and the 3 yuan coffee promoted downstairs was terrible!

The breakfast was excellent! It's not far from the train, so getting around is convenient. If you're going to ICC Sydney, it's right in the city center. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is super convenient, just about a 10-minute walk to the ICC, and right near Chinatown with tons of dining options. Dennis at the front desk was really helpful and friendly, and he even managed to get me an early check-in. The buffet breakfast had a great variety and was very satisfying. I stayed for a total of 5 days, and on the third day, I found the mattress a bit too soft. I mentioned it to the front desk, and they sorted it out for me very quickly. Overall, I have a great impression of this hotel, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Sydney.

This hotel is terrible. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was sluggish and unenthusiastic. I got there at 4 PM, and they told me there were no rooms. I asked if check-in wasn't at 3 PM, and she said she knew but there were still no rooms. So I just waited. After about five minutes, a room suddenly became available – completely baffling. But the real shock came when I entered the room. The walls were covered in mold. The entire room was full of dust, bloodstains, human hair, and pet hair – absolutely disgusting. In the middle of the night, the hot water pipes started buzzing constantly. Then, in the morning, the fire alarm went off, telling us to evacuate immediately. I'll never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Chinatown. The decor is decent, offering good value for money among downtown hotel options. It hosts many tour groups, and parking is very convenient right in front of the hotel, with an additional parking lot nearby. I didn't book breakfast.

Great for a trip to Sydney, convenient for getting around, shopping, and sightseeing. All of Sydney's unique attractions are nearby, right around Chinatown. Breakfast was decent.

Staying at Ascott again, there was a mix-up with the room number during check-in, but the front desk quickly resolved the issue and offered complimentary breakfast as compensation. The breakfast quality is excellent and quite refined. They had smoked salmon, cold cuts, various breads, vegetables, coffee, juice, milk, and fruits, as well as eggs Benedict. This time, I was in a different room, and the shower water flow was excellent, with good hot and cold temperature control. This is more in line with the Ascott brand I'm familiar with. Perhaps room 1219 has some facility issues that hopefully will be improved soon.
