The hotel's architecture is in the 19th-century Neoclassical style, with an intricate design full of details, exuding understated luxury and beauty. The bedding is of high quality and exceptionally comfortable, a hallmark of the hotel.

The hotel's public areas were alright, especially the library bar. However, the rooms were disappointing. For a room costing over 4,000 yuan a night, I felt it was no different from a budget hotel like Home Inn.

This is really the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. A five-star hotel at a five-star price. The staff in the store acted like they were worth millions and their service was very bad. It was very noisy outside at 7 or 8 o'clock in the day. The sound insulation was super poor! At 2 or 3 o'clock in the middle of the night, the floor and the machine outside kept making noises. It was 30 degrees without air conditioning, and all the pillows had a peculiar smell. When I told the front desk about these situations during the day, they acted as if they had no choice but to change the room. After changing the room, it was still the same, and they insisted that there was nothing wrong with the air conditioning. We just needed to explain that the pillows were changed, and they acted indifferently as if we were deliberately looking for trouble. The hygiene was terrible... There were so many things to complain about! It's not as good as a hotel that costs 2,000 yuan a night, at least they have air conditioning! Be careful when choosing to stay!

The room is very comfortable, cleaned twice a day, the service is in place, the location is excellent, suitable for parent-child travel, there are many Chinese restaurants around, and the children like it.

Racial discrimination. When they saw that I had a Chinese passport, they gave me room 513 (there were vacant rooms on both sides). The security guard was very enthusiastic towards white people and helped take photos. The front desk and security guard looked at me like I was airless. My IELTS score was 8.5. All the staff could communicate in English. Many times it was intentional and very obvious. This hotel is very ****** in the whole of Europe. I don't know why it has become a popular hotel. Maybe Chinese guests are too nice and tolerate the service. It may also be because of cultural differences that I didn't feel discriminated against.

I made a mistake and booked four nights at the Colon Hotel in Barcelona with the view of the Sagrada Familia.
