Amazing gem an oasis in Haro, the only one with a pool and this is already value for money... Nothing like to jump in a pool and relax on a lounge chair after going from winery to winery and by the main Rioja / Haro wineries are 17 min on foot and you can also get bikes (rental & 3rd party) at the reception Breakfast is fantastic and the staff (Mor) the person to go if you need anything around the pool

We had a wonderful three nights stay in this beautiful hotel. The moment you walk through the door you know by the goosebumps it’s something special. We were met by a friendly Miguel who turned out to be amazing. He helped with our train journey, he answered any questions we had, recommended places to eat and made us feel like we were truly valued guests. We were lucky to be upgraded to a beautiful room but I think they all are in the hotel. Daily amazing breakfast and beautiful wines and tapas in the evening. The pool area is a perfect place to unwind after a day walking around the wineries. Thank you to Nazareth, Patricia, Ixone, Silvia, Yasser and lastly Miguel for an amazing stay in the adults Disneyland of wine, Haro. We will definitely come back again one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Palacio de los Ángeles in Haro, and the hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Rioja. Valet parking made having a rental car incredibly easy, which was especially convenient for exploring the surrounding wine region. From the moment we arrived, the genuine hospitality of the staff stood out. Marc was a true ambassador for the hotel. Not only did he help with our luggage, but he took the time to check in with us whenever we passed through the hotel, showing a genuine interest in making sure we were enjoying our stay. Julie checked us in and provided all the information we needed to make the most of our time in Haro. She even shared some of the history of the building and gave us great recommendations to help us get our Rioja journey off to a wonderful start. The hotel also helped us with dinner reservations throughout our stay, and we never had a bad meal. The food at the hotel was excellent. Daily breakfast was superb, and the tapas lunch options were outstanding. I highly recommend the roasted eggplant. The wine list featured some of the best wines from the region at very reasonable price points. While the food was wonderful, the table service from Nazaret and Mary made the experience even better. Both took the time to make sure we had everything we needed and were genuinely kind, attentive, and clearly proud of providing exceptional service. The gym is well equipped and thoughtfully includes cold towels and refreshments. The pool is on the smaller side, but that is understandable given the hotel’s location in the middle of town. There is also a public pool a few blocks away that is more suitable for families with children. Our room was perfect, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything refreshed and the minibar fully stocked. The wonderful water pressure, towel warmer, professional hairdryer, and well-appointed vanity kit were all thoughtful touches that made the room feel especially comfortable. The spa is a truly tranquil space, and having a private hot tub as part of the treatment experience was a wonderful touch. I enjoyed a 75-minute massage with Maria, who was top-notch and incredibly pleasant throughout the session. She made sure I knew how to get the most out of the experience before I arrived, allowing me to simply relax and enjoy it. If you are looking for a world-class hotel in Rioja where exceptional accommodations are matched by genuinely warm and caring people, you cannot go wrong with Palacio de los Ángeles. We would happily return.

This is a beautiful five star hotel with some hardworking and welcoming staff. They have only been open four months so you would expect some teething problems. At present they appear understaffed at their peak season, hence the four stars, but don’t let that put you off. Definitely worth a stay. The design of the hotel really maximises the original building which has a long interesting history. There is a swimming pool and a decent restaurant. The town itself is in the heart of the Rioja region and is full of character; the wine is second to none!

We had a very nice stay. Staff was very helpfull, although some strugglede to open the winebottles and serve drinks as requested. The rooms a very nice and spacious, and the hotel is spottless clean and decoratede very delicate using high quality materials. There is a pool area, with a small lounge pool, which would be nice for relaxation and a cool swim, but we found it to be occoupied with kids jumping around. The hotel might have to rethink if they are 5 star hotel or familyresort, perhaps make some rules for the pool area, limited access for kids/age-restrictions. This we have seen in other hotels, and makes it possible for all to enjoy the stay.

Elegant hotel in the centre of Haro. However not five star. The swimming pool is too small and is overwhelmed by the number of guests both in the hotel and the associated apartments. Housekeeping is ad hoc, consistently late and lacks attention to detail eg sheets not changed, bins not emptied. Interior design and fabric of the hotel is beautiful and staff eager to help

As a seasoned traveller I called into the hotel to check on there restaurant and bar having spent some time here visiting some lovely vineyards. I was asked our room number and I mentioned I was here to enquire about the restaurant and would like to have a quiet drink. It was 42 degrees outside. The bar was empty and we were told they didn’t have the capacity to serve non residents. This is one of the most ridiculous and insulting experiences I’ve had after 30 years in the hospitality industry. The hotel opened on March 26th therefore you expect the hotel to want people to experience the facilities. Someone in the hotel needs to review its policy in relation to this. I hope you address this because I certainly wouldn’t recommend visiting the hotel with its obscure and ridiculous approach to potential new clients. I often visit wineries in the region with clients and certainly would recommending the hotel to any of my clients.

We stayed one night in Haro, the team at Palacio de los Angeles made sure it was memorable from start to finish. Amazing attention to details. Friendly staff, amazing kitchen and wine list. One of our best hotel experiences ever. Highly recommended.

We have had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here. Great location, very comfortable rooms with everything you need. Staff have all been polite, friendly, helpful and efficient throughout and the breakfasts have been amazing- lots of choice and plentiful. The hotel is immaculately clean and we used the gym and pool area too with very comfortable sunbeds. The only slight negative comment would be that the daily parking charges were quite expensive and they were the same whether you used the valet or not but overall we have been very happy with the hotel and they made our birthday celebrations special.
