Heritance Tea Factory

An amazing hotel in a unique setting. Unfortunately we arrived when the nearby village was celebrating so we had to move rooms, which was a downgrade. The music was non stop . Nevertheless the rooms were comfortable if in need of a little attention (chipped baths). Food was really good at night . For a tea factory it was disappointing that the breakfast tea was no choice and terrible and the coffee undrinkable.

From someone who has travelled to many countries, this is one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommended for anyone who is fascinated with tea, or even simply someone looking for an oasis to relax in.

(Tourist from Japan) This is the heritage hotel with a deep history of tea factory and perfect hospitality of trained staff. Property The property retains its authenticity and a sense of calm without being overly commercialized for tourism, which made us feeling like stepping back into the past. It seems they can enjoy a wide open view of tea plantation from every room. Needless to say, a room, restaurant is clean. Some insects get into a room, so people who cares need a spray (but only a few). Service Served food was fresh and delicious. If I had suggested, having more historic or regional cuisine could be perfect. Staff is friendly and well-trained enough to proceed everything smoothly. However it would have been nice if they were more responsive. I felt a bit uneasy as no reply to my e-mail for high tea reservation. Overall, highly recommend experience!!

Exceptional hotel. Staff, especially Shankarial were fantastic. Went above and beyond to make our stay as great as it could be. Shisha was some of the best we've ever had, and food we had from the bar snack menu was delicious. An unforgettable experience.

Excellent location, roads were very dangerous as we arrived late at night, coming up four kilometres.

Our experience at the hotel was truly exceptional, especially thanks to the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The food was very good, with very generous portions — you definitely won’t go hungry here! We also really enjoyed the various tea-related activities offered by the hotel, which added a unique and authentic touch to the experience. TCL train experience (price at 100usd person) was good.p That said, the rooms feel quite dated and could benefit from a renovation. While they were clean and comfortable, a refresh would bring the overall experience to the next level. Also, keep in mind that there is no swimming pool on-site. We’d recommend staying one or two nights — it’s enough time to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer without feeling like you’re missing out.
