We arrived at 10pm and there was a closed cafe we didn’t even know where this report is , had to call and they told me wait for 20 minutes to pick you up then we had to go on a safari jeep ride for 20 minutes before getting to a cable car to get to the reception . The rooms were very spacious but horrible condition in the bathroom , no water pressure and also no hot water for the shower so we skipped shower altogether for the 2 days . You are stuck in this jungle with nothing much to do and if you decide to get out the cable car and 29 minute ride is there . So not a pleasant stay unless you are looking for a tenting experience but paying for a hotel !

Wonderful surrounding with the nature and absolutely a calm and peaceful environment.only thing is property not maintained for so long and you have ti keep eye on every steps you take

The place is amidst the nature right in the middle of the forest(like literally middle). Property is great with superb location offering very comfortable and cozy cottages that has access to the stream flowing from the Ravana waterfalls.. Breakfast was so good, tasty and the quantity for two people was more than enough with all the variety on offer. A special mention goes out to their staff(Tharindu, Shehan & Dilshan) but most importantly a special mention goes to my buddy Dulanja who made no stones unturned to make our stay ever more special. Finally the three guards of the resort (Bruno, Tiger & Chiku) their cuteness was overwhelming and overloaded also they never left us out of their sights to ensure we were in good hands all the time.. A must must recommend please do visit..

We stayed one night at Jungle Resort in August, booking 3 rooms. While the location is undeniably beautiful and surrounded by nature, the overall experience was very poor. Access to the resort was unsafe and disorganised, and the cable car felt unreliable. It took nearly 2 hours to get our bags to the rooms. The rooms were extremely basic with poor lighting, gaps in doors and windows, old and dirty rugs, insufficient airconditioning (we had a small unit for AC), minimal room amenities, large gaps in glass sliding door allowing entry for insects or even small animals, inconsistent water supply, sink blockage, and multiple power cuts. Food (Breakfast) was cold, poorly presented, and left unattended — with flies all around. Although the staff tried their best, the management and logistics were clearly lacking. Most disappointing was that after emailing the resort to share our concerns, no one responded. Yet they seem quick to reply to positive reviews. I'm genuinely surprised to see the positive reviews here, as our experience was cpmpletely the opposite. We paid a price comparable to a 5-star property — but this resort wouldn't even deserve 1 star based on our experience. Definitely would not recommend.

It was a surreal experience. Like we were literally middle in the nature. The small trip from the main gate to the entrance of the Estate was adventurous. There is a cable car which takes you to the reception. Our room was just beside the stream which I suggest everyone to take. The staff were friendly and helpful which added up the breathtaking views experience. Specially Dulanja Samith was super friendly. It is in nature where you can find monkeys, birds and beautiful peacocks roaming around.

Best oasis hotel in Sri Lanka The only hotel in the world to cable car me in. And maybe my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. Very relaxing as no internet in rooms and I read and listened to waterfall. Heaps of room to do yoga.
