Ferryhill House Hotel

A lovely hotel in a quiet location which is walkable to the City centre. The staff were very helpful and lovely. The food was excellent and the breakfast was great. Will definitely stay here again.

We love the location of this hotel, super handy. Rooms are getting a little tired and could do with some TLC. We love the food here and the bar is really nice.

The property is easy to find and beautiful from the start. There is plenty of parking on site. Check in was easy. Our room was spacious, bright, clean, and up to date with a large closet for luggage and coats/clothes. The bed was super comfortable with nice crisp clean linens and comfy pillows. Very clean bathroom with a very nice stand up shower. Staff were always friendly, personable, and more than helpful. Right after we checked in we ordered room service from the bar, which was brought up fairly quickly. Food was nice and hot and very good. We also ate at the restaurant the following night. Everything was wonderful, but we really enjoyed the bread pudding. The overall experience, from the food to the staff, to the atmosphere, made our stay exceptional.

A perfect place for blending with locals. Professional and friendly staff. Included breakfast is made to order. Rooms are modern. The rest is classic top notch pub style.

The place was very noisy until 10:30 or so at night. We were told it would quieter by 4-5ish. Supper was well served in a quieter part of the hotel. The room up on the third level was stuffy so had to open the window to the noisy crowd below. One good thing was its proximity to Duthie Park, a jewel, in a busy city

Our room was very disappointing, obviously been a leak at the window and a large water stain under the window. As for the showerroom it needed a good clean, dust on the skirting boards and corner of the room, crack in the sink and as for the shower itself, it was disgusting with black mould around the silicon on the shower tray and tge water was roasting hot which could not be regulated. Not the comfiest of beds. Large water stain on the wall/ceiling going up to our room. The breakfast was ok however have never stayed in a hotel where there is no toast being offered along with your tea/coffee. Very disappointing for a 3/4* hotel. Wont be going back
