Microtel by Wyndham Maoming

The hotel is quite clean. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was offered tea service. The room was spacious and very clean, and I could even work in the lobby. The room's hygiene was excellent, and there were sports games to watch on TV. It wasn't noisy outside, and there's both an underground and above-ground parking lot with charging stations, which is very convenient. The location is good, and the front desk service is excellent. I'll definitely choose Magda Wyndham again next time.

The facilities are all brand new, no strange smells or broken parts, making for a very comfortable stay. It's clean and odor-free, with staff regularly cleaning. Overall, it's really great because the hotel is new and very close to Wanda Plaza. A special shout-out to the front desk lady whose attitude was exceptional. I believe the staff's attitude really determines whether a guest will return, and she made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

This hotel is located near an industrial area, which theoretically isn't as appealing as being by tourist attractions, the beach, or the bustling city center. However, the actual experience was incredibly comfortable and quiet. What's even better is that a large night market is just a short walk away! You won't feel isolated or have to order takeout for late-night snacks at all. Getting to and from the train station, or going to events at the Olympic Sports Center, or even the beach, does require a taxi, but they're easy to find and arrive quickly. It's really great!

The location is a major plus too, being very close to Wanda Plaza and Maoming South Station, which makes shopping, dining, and getting around incredibly convenient. Driving to the beach takes about half an hour, though it's quite hot now, so a trip to the beach might be a bit sunny. I especially want to praise the breakfast – the food was truly delicious. Not only were there many local specialty snacks, but also a rich variety of hot dishes, and you could even enjoy freshly ground coffee. The selection was vast and tasty. All in all, I was very satisfied with the dining, accommodation, and transportation, and found it to be great value for money. I genuinely recommend staying here.
