Chengyu Chenghao Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Yongningmen Metro Station Branch)

I was very pleased to stay at Orange Feather Orange Hao Hotel. It is very close to Exit A2 of Yongningmen Metro Station. You can take the metro directly from Xi'an North Railway Station and get off at Yongningmen, where you can visit the Xi'an City Wall (Yongningmen) and Guanzhong Academy. It's also just one stop away from the Bell Tower Metro Station. I stayed here for 5 nights in a row, and both the front desk staff and the lobby manager were warm and attentive. They helped me take my luggage up to my room on the 5th floor and introduced all the hotel services to me. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room every day, ensuring I had a clean and tidy space to stay in. After touring Xi'an for 6 days, exploring various historical sites and delicious food, I've completely fallen in love with this city. If I visit Xi'an again next time, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel's location is extremely close to Yongning Gate. If you book a view room, you can enjoy the night view of the city wall. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The shower takes a little while to get hot water, and the heating is a bit slow, but the water temperature is great. The soundproofing of the glass in the view room is slightly poor, but given that it's a view room, it's tolerable. The location is quite good overall and offers great value for money. The breakfast is also very rich, and there is a shared parking lot with a decent number of spaces.

The room is super spacious and perfect for families. The hotel is conveniently located near the Yongningmen City Wall and Metro Line 2, making it easy to get to various attractions. The breakfast on the 10th floor is fantastic—haha, I had it four days in a row! The service is attentive: we were welcomed with warm tea upon check-in, a lovely staff member escorted us to our room and explained the facilities, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. Any issues we had were resolved promptly. The only downside is that the soundproofing could be improved!

Since we were a family of three, we booked a triple room. The room was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable—two soft ones and one slightly firmer, which catered well to everyone's preferences. It was very clean, and the service was warm and welcoming. The staff here are truly wonderful; whenever you cross paths with them, they greet you with a big smile, which instantly puts you in a great mood. Plus, the hotel's location is fantastic, right across from Yongning Gate with plenty of malls nearby. Highly recommended!

We chose this Chengyu Chenghao hotel as a stopover during our road trip in Xi'an, and I just have to rave about the service! The front desk staff were warm and meticulous, and even proactively upgraded us to a view room. The window looked directly out at the Yongning Gate (South Gate) city wall—watching the sunset in the evening and the lights on the wall at night created an incredible, full-of-ambiance experience. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very attentive, and any issues we had were resolved immediately. To be objective, the hotel facilities are a bit dated and show their age, but the rooms are kept very clean. Overall, the service and the city wall view are the biggest highlights, offering great value for money. Highly recommended for travelers who want to see the night view of the city wall.

I stayed for two days and was so satisfied that I extended my stay. Although the price fluctuated quite a bit due to the weekend, my family still chose Orange Feather Orange Hao (Chengyu Chenghao). Both the front desk and housekeeping provided attentive, meticulous, and warm service. The best part is that the hotel is very convenient for getting around, with the subway and bus stops just steps away.

An amazing hotel overall! It is very clean and tidy with an excellent location, making it extremely convenient to visit all of Xi'an's attractions. You can see the City Wall right from the room, and they also offer free Hanfu rental service. Plus, they even gave us a blessing pouch as a parting gift when we checked out.

The environment is clean and tidy, and the facilities are fully equipped with a gym, laundry room, meeting rooms, and a parking lot. In particular, the restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food. The staff are warm and attentive. There are many attractions around the hotel, and the room size is moderate. I recommend booking a view room to enjoy the night view of Xi'an Yongning Gate, which offers a totally different experience. The underground parking is free, but the entrance and exit are relatively steep, so drivers with low-chassis cars should be extra careful...

We stayed for three consecutive days. The hotel is very conveniently located for visiting the Xiaonanmen Morning Market and faces the Yongning Gate of the Ancient City Wall. It's also very close to the Forest of Stone Tablets Museum, the City Museum (Small Wildgoose Pagoda), Xiangzi Temple, and the Bell and Drum Towers. The staff were super enthusiastic, and the lobby provides travel guides and promotional cards. The room is spacious and bright, making it big enough for a whole family. The bathroom has a separate dry and wet area, and the traditional decor is very suitable for elderly guests.
