Chengyu Chenghao Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Yongningmen Metro Station Branch)

Fantastic location! It's a short walk to Xiaonanmen Morning Market, making it super easy to grab some authentic local breakfast. Being close to the city wall and subway also makes getting around and sightseeing very convenient. The room was clean, the service was welcoming, and overall, it was a great stay.

Excellent room! The hotel management and front-line staff did a fantastic job with the size, amenities, and cleanliness. We especially loved the room's view of Yongning Gate, both during the day and at night. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to Yongningmen Station on Metro Line 2. We were particularly impressed with how thoroughly the room was cleaned, and upon asking, we learned that attendant SKP was responsible that day. With nearly 200 rooms, there was a bit of a wait during check-in, which we understood given how busy the front-line staff were. Overall, we were very satisfied and extended our stay for two more nights.

A special thank you to the SKP sisters; as someone with severe allergies, I was able to stay here with complete peace of mind. Five stars for you ❤️. The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station. Our room offered a direct view of Yongning Gate, allowing us to watch the sunrise right from our room. It's convenient for getting anywhere. Great value for money, highly recommended.

Convenient location with warm and attentive service. The Bell Tower and Drum Tower are within walking distance, and my companion's top choice, the Stele Forest, is also walkable. In the evening, we went up the city wall from Yongning Gate, and the views were stunning. Other attractions are easily accessible by bus and subway. A very satisfying experience overall.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with Metro Line 2 right nearby, placing it in Xi'an's main urban commercial district. This makes it incredibly convenient for dining, sightseeing, and shopping. On the first day, I booked a room with a large window, but I was planning to check out the next day due to outdated facilities. However, when I spoke to a staff member on the second day, they moved me to a newly renovated room on the 4th floor (renovated in 2022). I was quite satisfied and promptly rebooked to stay for another four nights. The housekeeping staff from the 'Shuyuan Gate' team even proactively wiped down my luggage while cleaning. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The service at this hotel was excellent! It's conveniently located near the city wall and the subway. We booked a room with a night view, which was very spacious and comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful night scenery of the city wall. The only downside was that our room had a small gap in the window and faced the street, so it was a bit noisy at night. We mentioned it to the front desk, and they assured us they would look into improving it. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

The location is excellent, very close to Yongningmen subway station, and Wangfujing is right next door. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and provide great service. The room is clean, tidy, and has no strange odors, plus the decor is new. Most importantly, the room has a tea-drinking area.
