DongHu Resort Hotel

The vacation was great, and the staff were really nice. It seems there wasn't a TV in the room though, haha, even though I didn't really need one. It's right by the ocean, haha, with the beach just outside! 🏖️

I do not recommend it! Regarding the room: We paid a higher price for a better room, but the one we received was identical to the most basic ones. When we asked why there was such a price difference, they claimed that Trip.com is responsible for those classifications, not them. Furthermore, in the hotel lobby, there were groups of men who approached us, showing pictures of naked women. Security had to intervene to get them to leave us alone. There were suspicious men around at all times, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. On another note, we sent clothes for laundry, and they tried to charge us $90 for 4kg of clothing. When we checked the bill, they had charged us for extra items. The hotel manager was arrogant and rude. The receptionist, however, was always very kind and respectful. We absolutely do not recommend this hotel. It's not safe. We've been travelers for years and have never experienced anything like this. It was lamentable. Terrible management from those in charge. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of us to charge more money.

We had a bad experience with this hotel. I do not recommend it. They tried to charge us 140 USD for a simple laundry service, and after arguing, we ended up paying 70. We thought it was outrageous, more expensive than the two nights we had paid for. Plus, the place felt strange and tense; a woman approached me asking me to send a voice note pretending to be someone else, until I saw a photo of a naked woman (they were trying to scam someone).
