Petra was an amazing experience for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful place. The Nomad Hotel is pretty strategically located near the Petra Visitor Centre, provided you have a car or someone is driving you. It's still a walkable distance but on the way back it can be strenuous as you have to climb uphill to where the hotel is located. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was not really spacious so we had to manage a bit with our large suitcases. But the bed was comfy and we had a good sleep. The view from the rooftop was fantastic. Breakfast was adequate, nothing too fancy but it served its purpose. There is a resident dog called Lucy who is very friendly.

The rooms are clean and quite spacious. I didn't try the breakfast as I felt 3 JOD (4 USD) is a bit steep and downtown Amman has a delightful assort of restaurants. Laundry costs 6 JD per load as of Dec 2024.

An excellent hotel with a convenient location. The Visitor Center (the entrance to Petra) is a 10-minute walk away. The only problem is that the hotel is located on a hill, so while the descent isn't difficult, the climb up is quite challenging. Taxi drivers charge exorbitant prices for a ride, even though it's literally a two-minute ride. The hotel itself is beyond reproach. The room is spacious, with hot water and clean linens. The room also has a kettle, coffee, tea, and water. While I was walking around Petra, they made my bed and refilled the instant coffee bags. The staff is very polite and pleasant. Breakfast is varied, everything is fresh and delicious, and it's a buffet. No one pressures you, so you can eat as much as you want. I highly recommend this hotel!

If you're looking for a clean place to stay in Petra, this is the place to stay! ▼Cleanliness The sheets were clean, and the rooms and bathrooms were spotless! ▼Location While you can walk to the Petra ruins, there's a fairly steep hill in front of the hotel. While the distance is short, the slope is quite steep, so if you're not confident in your stamina or have a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. ▼Service After checking out, I was able to wait in the lobby until my bus, which was very helpful. ▼Amenities There's a mini-fridge in the room! Very convenient!
