For years, I've enjoyed meals at this hotel, always admiring the stunning terrace views, though I'd never actually stayed here before. So this time, I decided to book a one-night stay. The hotel service was incredibly warm and welcoming, the dinner was superb, and the terrace truly is ideal for simply relaxing and gazing out at the lake. The room was a bit on the small side, and there were quite a few mosquitoes, but insect repellent was thoughtfully provided. A highlight was the private outdoor hot spring bath in the room – soaking in it was wonderfully comfortable.

The JR station shuttle pick-up request needing to be submitted three days in advance is a bit strict. It's also hard to understand why dinner isn't provided, especially given the inconvenient location. How else are guests supposed to eat?

The environment is perfectly designed, elegant, clean, and comfortable. The service is attentive.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was spacious, and both the breakfast and dinner were delicious. A great bonus was the model train display and the all-you-can-drink Sapporo beer.
