Wake in the Sea Homestay (Laoshan)

This hotel is located within the Laoshan Scenic Area. You need to book a vehicle and have the hotel register it a day in advance to get in. During peak season, there can be about a 30-minute traffic jam getting into the scenic area, but once inside, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, and there are plenty of unique local dishes. The sea water is clear and blue with no strange odors, and the sea breeze is wonderfully cool. The hotel's facilities are excellent. What was even more surprising was the attention to detail – the restaurant, stairwells, terraces, balconies, and cafe were all clean and exquisitely maintained. The room itself was very comfortable. Drinks in the room are complimentary, and there was a large plate of welcome fruit that I didn't even finish by check-out, making for a great photo opportunity. The young staff members providing service were very thoughtful, warm, and attentive. They were proactive in addressing guests' needs and solving problems. When I came back late after going out in the middle of the night, the staff (specifically mentioned as 'Sidou' in the original, implying a specific staff member or group chat) kept messaging in the group chat, waiting for me to return. When I was struggling with the uphill climbs around the hotel, the young staff members kindly helped me with my luggage and took great care of me. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the portions were very generous. You could even save leftovers for another meal – I ate there three times and still couldn't finish everything. Breakfast consisted of a bowl of noodles, a dish, meat, eggs, and bread. Within the Laoshan Scenic Area surrounding the hotel, there are also many special dining options to choose from, including seafood, BBQ, and Western cuisine. I'm planning to stay longer next time.

The views are absolutely stunning; staying at this hotel is enough to make your trip to Mount Lao worthwhile. This guesthouse is incredibly thoughtful – the breakfast, lunch, and drinks are all fantastic in terms of color, aroma, and taste. I will definitely be back again.

This B&B is right on the cliff, absolutely stunning! The butler service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and they even included three complimentary travel photoshoots with a fantastic photographer. The food at the B&B was also delicious! Truly amazing, I'll definitely come back to experience it again!

Facilities: Well-equipped, with a private hot spring where you can enjoy the sea view while soaking, though it's a shame there's no swimming pool. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Comfortable, located by the sea with beautiful scenery, you can directly watch the sunrise over the ocean. Service: Excellent.

The location is absolutely fantastic! 👍 The service was also very attentive. The views from the common areas are breathtaking. It was a scorching summer day, so there was no need to even leave the hotel. There's a beach nearby where kids can play in the sand. My absolute top recommendation is to have lunch and dinner right at the guesthouse. Order the stir-fried tomatoes with eggs and the stir-fried pork with chili – perfect with rice!

This B&B is top-notch! The service is absolutely incredible. No matter how late it was, the butler was always available to respond. Parking was super convenient, and the breakfast coffee was outstanding.

Finally checked in at Laoshan "Awakening by the Sea" (醒在海里)! I've had this place saved for ages, and it truly exceeded my expectations! Perched on a cliff right by the ocean, the huge floor-to-ceiling windows frame the entire sea view perfectly. In the mornings, I just lay in bed and waited for the sunrise over the sea, and in the evenings, I sat on the terrace enjoying the sea breeze. Downstairs, the beach was great for hunting for little seashells. There's none of the city noise here, just the sound of the waves crashing. I really wish I could have stayed a few more days! I'll definitely be back again soon!

The hotel butler set up a group chat beforehand, and their service responses were prompt and thoughtful. When we arrived at the B&B, it was pouring rain, but the butler helped us with our luggage, held an umbrella for us, and gave us a detailed introduction to the B&B's facilities. Every corner is super picturesque. The nearby beach is stunning, and the kids had a blast digging in the sand and playing in the waves. We found both the breakfast and lunch at the restaurant absolutely delicious, and the complimentary ice cream and drinks were also fantastic! We fell asleep to the sound of the waves under a beautiful sunset and woke up feeling completely content, as if we were in the sea.

This place offers the most beautiful corner of Laoshan. The fruits are delicious, and the service group is very responsive. The free laundry service is fantastic, and the travel photography is also excellent.
