We have stayed in Manini Point House several times now, and it's so wonderful. The house is always sparkling clean, comfortable and ready for us. We love the location, proximity to the beach and authentic Hawaii vibe--we're so grateful to stay in this neighborhood. Elizabeth and Steve are fantastic hosts. It's one of our favorite places to be.

The house was amazing, the location even better than we expected. We walked to Manini Beach every morning with our cup of coffee.The hostess, Elizabeth, was so thoughtful to have a huge fruit basket waiting for us. The beds were all so comfortable and we loved the covered patio for hanging out together and eating at the lazy susan table. It worked great for playing Scrabble! The beauty of the grounds and the house more than made up for having to hear roosters!

Lovely house, interesting neighborhood and neighbors

This is a wonderful place and Elizabeth is very friendly and helpful. Steps from amazing snorkeling and a short drive to the place of refuge and two step. Easy drive up to Kona for nightlife if you’re interested. Kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are comfortable. Gets hot if there is no breeze but that’s pretty rare and you can always cool off in K Bay!

Exceeded Expectations We were completely overwhelmed by how incredible this experience was for our family. The property far exceeded our expectations — the photos truly don’t do it justice. It’s a stunning estate, perfectly situated near Captain Cook Cove with easy access to nearby trails. Check-in was seamless, and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate our family of seven. We’d recommend this place to anyone… though part of us wishes we could keep it our little secret!

Disgruntled Neighbors and noisy Roosters This is a wonderful house, has everything a party of 6 could need, the location on the bay is fantastic, and the owners are great. However, the neighbors (local Hawaiians) did not seem happy we were there. When we sat on the deck talking (no loud music) they would yell "quiet" at 10 pm on a Saturday night, which really put an abrupt end to our fun conversations. When we put on music during the day, they would turn up their music so loud that we could not hear our music, we soon gave up on playing our own music. The neighbors made us feel quite unwelcome. Their roosters start crowing at around 5 am, so be aware that it will be noisy (and the upstairs bedroom does not have windows you can close, just screen windows).

Awesome stay!! We had an amazing time! Pleasantly found that we were extremely close to ocean and snorkeling! House was perfect for us!

The Neighborhood Rental Owners were VERY nice and responsive to any need or requests. The home is beyond beautiful inside with exotic wood floors and carvings. We really enjoyed the nearby chickens/roosters, rugged lava shore, and nearby parks. This is a country neighborhood, not a resort. We loved it!

Wonderful home We’ve stayed in this sweet neighborhood several times and this house three times—it’s hands down our favorite. Elizabeth and Steve are wonderful responsive hosts. We can’t wait to come back next year. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to experience the aloha in this community.
