Newport Beach Hotel & Suites

The location was great, there was ample parking. We enjoyed out stay. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. It was a nice getaway place

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The manager was extremely understanding and helpful due to our room upon check in was extremely dirty. Hand prints all over the cabinets and head boards. Sheets had mold and hair all in them. The bathroom floor has hair along with foot marks. The hotel room doors didn’t shut fully. Room was described as ocean view and it was right near an extremely busy road. The carpet was full of crumbs. We didn’t end up staying not even 5 minutes and booked another hotel in downtown Newport instead.

The beach view was idyllic and the lagoon view was equally serene. The staff was friendly and attentive. The suite was very clean and well maintained as was the indoor pool and spa. The only issue we encountered was a very leaky faucet in the kitchenette - but everything else was excellent.

My room did not have a view. What was subpar was the bed to begin. Next, the tv was not across from the bed but to the left wall which made it very awkward to watch tv at all. Last but not least, the floors were so uneven, I could not wait to leave the room.

Do not stay here, not at all worth it. Ocean view was a tiny window next to the main street, no curtains in the window. Do not stay on the second floor, we were woken up by the cleaning staff at 8am Sunday yelling and running through the hallway for half hour or more. Shower is also horrible.

We had a wonderful room on the fourth floor looking out over a field of flowers leading to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is only a short drive to some very nice restaurants and bars.

Carol was amazing. Made coming in at night something to look forward to! Fun, helpful and a real asset to the hotel. Look forward to seeing he again.
