Great place to celebrate my birthday solo with my pet. The room is great and amenities in room nice restaurant in dining service team was very accommodating and food was excellent.
They even dropped off a bday card and treat!
Had a spa treatment and splurged a little. Only negative thing I’d say was cost of bringing your companion. $300 is a little excessive. I would expect dog meals delivered and a dog grooming treatment for that especially when staying for a single night.
I’d still recommend it, but maybe find arrangements for your companion. I did enjoy having her with me and would probably still take her again. The grounds were nice and peaceful too!

This property was absolutely beautiful not only was the staff so helpful and polite and kind and helpful but it really seems like they enjoy to work there. Which always makes a huge difference. Also love the grounds my goodness it was beautiful. There was so much to see and so much to do.

Amazing Stay
Ojai valley Inn never disappoints. The service is top notch, the grounds are beautiful. They cater to your furry friend too although we did not bring ours this time. Brought our road bikes and felt secure leaving them in valet with the car. The spa pool is so relaxing and the cafe makes delicious drinks and bites. The Oak was a relaxed and delicious meal. Town is a short walk away to explore additional restaurants too.

MAGA Crowd and no EV charging
-the pixie pool was too crowded with kids AND the huge floats that are allowed
-people were wearing “MAGA” apparel
-when I booked the “shangri-la” room I assumed it would be in the shangri-la building so I could be close to the pool with my kids but we were in Los Parsees, way too far and when I asked to be moved the hotel couldn’t accommodate
-I stayed for three days and when I checked in I was told that my EV car would be charged. Upon checking out, after three full days my car was not charged and I had to stop at a charging station on the edge of town.
-overall not a relaxing or positive experience, sadly will be our last visit to OVI for a while

It took them 3 hours to check us in. I had asked to give us golf course view but they gave us street view.
