Ojai Valley Inn

Great place to celebrate my birthday solo with my pet. The room is great and amenities in room nice restaurant in dining service team was very accommodating and food was excellent. They even dropped off a bday card and treat! Had a spa treatment and splurged a little. Only negative thing I’d say was cost of bringing your companion. $300 is a little excessive. I would expect dog meals delivered and a dog grooming treatment for that especially when staying for a single night.   I’d still recommend it, but maybe find arrangements for your companion. I did enjoy having her with me and would probably still take her again. The grounds were nice and peaceful too!

I felt that this was way overpriced. The rooms have terrible sound proofing and there are tons of kids screaming and crying. It felt like a 4 star hotel not 5

Wonderful setting. Visited during Easter weekend so there were so many young kids which may have taken away from the experience to be honest. But at same time, it's always nice to see people enjoying the outdoors.

We enjoyed riding bikes, going to the bee/honey experience, the pool, and visiting local restaurants

Our room was so beautiful, and had a fireplace. We ended up staying in our room and ordering in room service most nights because we didn't want to leave! The staff also treated us well and helped us celebrate on our babymoon. Wonderful stay and can't wait to return again!

Valet services lost my car for 40 minutes, room was excellent Spa and room service food was terrible

When we arrived, the heater was broken in our room, and the weather was extremely cold. We called front desk and They said they will send someone up, it didn’t happen. We called two more times and finally after being told someone will be up to look at it 2 other times They said it’s because of the power failure and the heater will come on gradually. No one told us that earlier! we had to make several calls for them to say this, and freeze in the meantime. before check out we called for a Bellman to come and help us with the luggage and we were told that someone will be up and we could leave the room and get our breakfast and they will bring our luggage to the car. It never happened! when we went to get our car and asked for our luggage two hours later our luggage was still in our room and had not been picked up. This is a very expensive and elevated property. However, it seems the staff are very young and inexperienced and for lack of a better word, The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing…. We love the property and the layout, but for the amount of money we were paying to stay there. We were very disappointed on multiple occasions because of the incompetency of the staff.
