Shanshui S Hotel (Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley Tianfu Square)

The location is easy to find, parking is convenient, and transportation to anywhere is a breeze. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the breakfast is good too. They offer complimentary afternoon tea and evening congee. Nearby, there are fruit stalls and excellent Sichuan restaurants, including one that serves 'Laoma Tihua' (braised pig's trotters). We stayed for two nights, and it was great value for money. Highly recommended! Plus, People's Park is just 200 meters away, where you can enjoy opera and tea.

I extended my stay for two more nights because of the convenient location. On the first night, they even left a small snack, but there was nothing on the second day. After a long day out, I returned to find the cleaning rag left on the bathroom counter. There was also a stain on the bar counter that was there since I checked in and was never cleaned even by the time I left, which suggests some oversight in their management.

Absolutely fantastic experience! I don't even need to say more; they really go above and beyond. We were just using our own clothes hooks, and without us saying a word, they provided so many hangers. It was truly thoughtful and heartwarming, just superb! Especially room numbers 319 and 332 🎉🎉🎉

The hotel was clean and the facilities were quite new. Its location near People's Park made it convenient to get around. There were many fruit stalls downstairs, and we even caught the sugarcane season – cheap and delicious! There aren't many large restaurants nearby, so you'll need to venture out for good food. Special shout-out to front desk attendant #330 for her excellent and attentive service. We booked a family room and it was very comfortable.

The room I booked was quite spacious, even having a small living area. My child didn't want to sleep in the big bed with us, so we asked the hotel for an extra sheet and duvet, and he slept on the sofa. The bed was incredibly comfortable – the most comfortable I've experienced on this trip. It offered great value for money. The bathroom was also excellent, with three separate sections. There was even a small washing machine, and they thoughtfully provided laundry detergent and disinfectant. Although I didn't use them, it was a nice touch and made a good impression. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance. The location was also super convenient, just a short walk to People's Park.
