A very stylish hotel with high-quality room facilities and amenities. They thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea, with incredible attention to detail—for instance, the peach gum and bird's nest soup came in a thermos, so it was still warm when we got back at night. The accompanying snacks and fruits were also of great quality and not just an afterthought. The environment is fantastic, and it's very convenient for visiting the old street of Xiahaoli. A special shout-out to the young lady at the front desk, whose service attitude was exceptionally wonderful 👍

The room was fantastic and very clean, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The breakfast was great, and the surrounding environment exceeded our expectations. We will definitely choose to stay here again for our next vacation!

My stay at Mangeng Mansion was delightful. The architecture, an old European-style building, creates a wonderful ambiance. The hotel is situated within the Kai Fu Site Park, offering a peaceful environment that belies its central location – it's surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area. The butler service was also incredibly attentive and thoughtful, always responding promptly to any needs. The room was clean and comfortable. In my leisure time, I could enjoy the river view right from the hotel's lawn. It's definitely worth a stay!

Coming to Chongqing for the National Day holiday, I chose this hotel. It allowed me to avoid the crowded areas like Hongyadong for my stay, yet still reach Hongyadong and Chaotianmen quickly by cable car or taxi, which was very convenient. The hotel is located within the historical park of Chongqing's opening port. You can walk to the South Station of the Yangtze River Cableway, Longmenhao Old Street, and Xiahaoli, making it incredibly easy to explore and find food. The building itself is full of history, built in 1923, it was formerly the site of the British Asiatic Petroleum Company and even served as the British Embassy during the Anti-Japanese War. Today, it has been transformed into a hotel with a charming Republic of China era style. The residence is situated at a high point at the foot of Nanshan Mountain, directly facing the Yuzhong Peninsula, offering excellent views of both the river by day and the city lights by night. The bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful sleep. The butler service was also incredibly heartwarming and accommodating – they were always there to help. Excellent value for money!

Overall, it's a great place with beautiful scenery and buildings rich in history and character. The exterior is lovely, except for that artificial turf. Chongqing gets a lot of rain, and that turf is a huge design flaw. It collects standing water, soaking your shoes and the hems of longer pants, and getting your luggage wet too. The room was impeccably clean—so spotless it practically gleamed. The space and the quality of the bedding were both excellent. The only issue was that the AC vent blows right at the bed where your head rests. It's probably fine in winter, but in summer, for someone like me who gets headaches easily, it was a nightmare. I ended up moving the entire bed to a different spot. The breakfast was good and very hearty! Staying at the hotel really lets you feel the passage of time and history.

The hotel has a great overall atmosphere and is very comfortable to stay in. The staff are attentive and welcoming, making for a wonderful check-in experience. It's a perfect place to stay for a trip, highly recommended! They even gave us a souvenir after we checked out. I'll definitely come back next time.

Looking out the window, you could see the expansive river scenery – the river by day and the city lights by night, it was truly therapeutic. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk also patiently recommended local eateries and routes. Thanks to this stay, Chongqing left a wonderful impression on me. The hotel's location, service, and views are all major pluses, offering great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing and I'll definitely stay here again next time.

I recently stayed at the Chongqing Man Geng Mansion and booked two rooms, a twin room and a terrace river view room, for four consecutive nights. Overall, the experience was excellent. Among the many established hotels in Chongqing, this one stands out with its unique floor design and decor, blending modern style with classic mansion architecture. It boasts a prime river view, offering panoramic vistas of Chongqing, the 'Mountain City.' The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and proactively attentive throughout my stay. The hotel's private river view platform is a major highlight, perfect for families with children. Kids can play freely and safely on the platform. During my stay, the mansion was hosting a Burberry-themed event, which guests could book to visit, adding a nice touch to the experience. For those traveling by car, it's also very convenient. There are parking spaces right outside the hotel entrance, and parking isn't a problem. Overall, everything was top-notch, and I highly recommend this mansion to anyone visiting Chongqing.
