Copper Beech Inn

The building and grounds need maintenance. There's rotting window sills and rain damage on the ceiling, spots of bleach on the carpets and the doorknob of a closet came off in my hand. The TV in the room is incredibly small, the size of a computer screen. You don't come to a hotel to watch TV but like showers, you expect a nice experience. The breakfasts were ok, but not great.

While it had "historic inn" charm, all the accoutrements and hardware were modern and thoughtfully installed and presented. The bathroom was especially luxurious and even included a large jacuzzi tub. The large room and bathroom were impeccably clean and though we eschewed maid service by displaying a Do Not Disturb card we returned to our room to discover a neatly wrapped bag of fresh towels placed outside the door. The driveway leading uphill to the outbuilding we shared with perhaps four other guest rooms was a bit rough but any modern vehicle could easily traverse it at a slow pace. The soundproofing was exceptional and we only sensed the presence of other guests by observing their parked cars and meeting them while traversing the charming garden path to the main building and dining room.

Room was spacious and very comfortable. Description did not match the room. There was a tub but it wasn’t a jacuzzi and there is no radiant heat in the bathroom as stated. There's actually no heat in the bathroom at all. Way overpriced. This room is not worth $600 per night. I wouldn't go back.

Room was decorated very nicely. Spacious and located in the upper building. Staff very friendly and helpful. Andrew our waiter in the restaurant very personable. Offered excellent service. Menu for Valentine's day was special with a wide selection. Food was well prepared and delicious. Breakfast waiter was also very good.

Overpriced Nice location and nice staff. Room furniture is old and carpet is separated and dirty around the baseboards. I stay in a lot of hotel and this was average and not worth $450/night.

It could use an upgrade for the Breakfast menu.

This place was beautiful! Loved our room. Nice breakfast. Staff is very nice. Room always cleaned nice! Close to many attractions and shopping. Will go back!!!!

Room was clean. Property looks nothing like photos, it needs to be cleaned up and painted. Service minimal.
