The place is nice, the beds were very comfortable, and it has the amenities you need for a short trip. The room was nice looking. The check-in and check-out are very easy to do. The location is very good, like 5 min walk to the starting of a main touristic street with a lot of restaurants, small market, ther3 you can find all kind of souvenirs and try different snacks. The closest station is around 12min walk. We enjoyed our stay in this place ^^

In a nutshell, I'd say this is a good, but not great, place. They have all the amenities, yet, it's quite run down. Perhaps this is the charm of the hutong area - picturesque, usable and livable, but keep your expectations to minimal.  Great for photo taking, but upon closer look you'd see some parts of the rooms are covered in dust. Shower head runs erratically. WiFi is completely non existent - works fine in the corridor, but gone the minute you step into the room.  That being said, the staff were great and nice. They'd accommodate to our requests, are always avail on wechat. Friendly, but not overbearing.  I came with elderly parents in their late 60s. They enjoyed the lovely place because it's beautiful. Just don't expect 4 stars hotel service and amenities.  Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
