Hutong Courtyard Beijing

Please I want to return money. We booked 2 rooms for 3 people ( 1 family ). Check in was promised 24 hours, but the hotel wanted 3 days before exactly information about check in. It is difficulte for foreign people to know exactly time. The accomodation wasnt clean ( photos ), the lobby had the mess, first room had broken door, second room smelled bad from toilet. Second day in the morning the people from hotel started to measurement our rooms from outside with the big noise. We paid for 2 nights but we decided to change hotel; because it wasnt quiet. We stay in Hutong Courtyard Beijing one night. Manager promis us to refund money but only by the Trip.com. Thanks.

The place is nice, the beds were very comfortable, and it has the amenities you need for a short trip. The room was nice looking. The check-in and check-out are very easy to do. The location is very good, like 5 min walk to the starting of a main touristic street with a lot of restaurants, small market, ther3 you can find all kind of souvenirs and try different snacks. The closest station is around 12min walk. We enjoyed our stay in this place ^^

Excellent accommodation in the Hutongs of Beijing! The room itself was clean and comfortable, the hotel was very beautiful and the location was perfect! Just step outside the entrance, turn left and walk straight down to find the most amazing food and snack options!

In a nutshell, I'd say this is a good, but not great, place. They have all the amenities, yet, it's quite run down. Perhaps this is the charm of the hutong area - picturesque, usable and livable, but keep your expectations to minimal.  Great for photo taking, but upon closer look you'd see some parts of the rooms are covered in dust. Shower head runs erratically. WiFi is completely non existent - works fine in the corridor, but gone the minute you step into the room.  That being said, the staff were great and nice. They'd accommodate to our requests, are always avail on wechat. Friendly, but not overbearing.  I came with elderly parents in their late 60s. They enjoyed the lovely place because it's beautiful. Just don't expect 4 stars hotel service and amenities.  Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Cleanliness of room needs to be improved. They do not clean up your room daily.

Excellent place in the hutong area. Perfectly located, near great street food places, day and night markets and well connected through public transport to all of Beijing's main highlights. Staff responded our every need.
