Disappointing Wedding Experience We booked 8 rooms and hosted around 100 guests at this five-star hotel for a wedding event. While the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, the overall wedding experience did not meet our expectations. On the wedding day, the hotel staff did not properly welcome our guests — something we expected from a reputed five-star property. Traditionally, the hotel also prepares a special dish (such as a whole chicken or goat) for the bride and groom, but this was not done, which was quite disappointing for us. Moreover, most of the staff seemed rather serious and lacked the warmth or smiles that make guests feel truly welcome. To be fair, the facilities, cleanliness, and room service were all satisfactory. However, when it comes to hospitality and guest experience — especially on such an important occasion — the hotel needs to improve significantly. With better staff training and more attention to cultural details, they could truly live up to their five-star rating.

Wow just wow what an experience just arrived but after staying and having a nightmare of an experience at a resort near it this is a breath of Fresh air movie theatre private wellness area paid but available wow wow wow and the ppl dinner was a little expensive but honestly I didn’t care at this point the food was good

Enjoyed a wonderful time at the Grand Sultan Resort in Srimangal, nestled amid lush tea gardens. It’s truly an impressive resort, with high standards and quality evident in every detail. Bangladesh is progressing well and steadily moving forward.

The hotel itself is clean and has plenty of staff available to help when needed. However, the TV could be improved—either by upgrading to smart TVs or improving the signal quality. The outdoor restaurant also needs heating, and the food was average at best.

My family went to dine with the establishment. As they traveled 2 hours to get there. My kids were very hungry at this moment. As we are UK residents and have been there numerous times we chose to dine at this hotel. But when they arrived at the gate, the security asked to order food and pay at the gate? They treating this like my family are some beggars, at this moment felt like they were going to give us food at the gate to eat there too. We were shocked to hear this! What kind of establishment is this? We traveled to some of the finest restaurants around the world and never heard of this kind off services. They call them self 5* really for what. More like visiting a prison. I did send an email and numerous messages to get a full explanation of their policy and this matter how they treated and dealt with my families. But had no replies!! Please avoid at all cost as it’s not worth visiting for the kind of services and treatment you will end up getting. Bad staff & Bad Management.

Came in around 7pm well after we had lunch elsewhere because we was visiting somewhere else. They wouldn't let us in if we dont order for 7 of us which was stupid because we are already full. Not even something small could be ordered to go in. Eventually ordered and spend about an hr as ot got darker. Nice place, nice food. But not happy about the entry issue

excellent accomodation environment and warmhearted people. I liked it too much. In our busy life we go out for relaxation . its a good place to pass times with family..food facility is standard . buffet is too rich and standard . loved it too much.
