Dusit Thani Bangkok Stay Report – “André Fu's Elegance in the Siamese Sky” Overall Impression | Exiting BTS Sala Daeng Station at Exit 4 and walking five minutes along Silom Road, a golden tower dramatically emerges from the lush greenery of Lumphini Park. This was the destination for this Bangkok trip – the Dusit Thani Bangkok! After four years, the reborn Dusit Thani has retained its old soul while sporting a new look. The golden tower's facade still gleams, but the interior is a completely new interpretation of contemporary design language. And for anyone who appreciates André Fu's design aesthetic, this place is paradise! André has achieved a true cultural translation here – he has reinterpreted traditional Thai crafts, patterns, and materials using contemporary design language, transforming them from museum exhibits into tangible, livable, and experiential everyday elements. What truly makes this hotel a legend, however, are the tender details hidden within – a vintage cocktail at 1970 Bar, a bowl of Pad Kra Pao at The Pavilion, the golden hour at Spire Rooftop Bar, or even the aroma of black truffle at Cannubi… Every aspect makes you feel that this is not just an ordinary luxury hotel, but a legend with memories, warmth, and stories!

Excellent service. The location is incredibly convenient, right between two subway stations, making travel easy and avoiding rain. There's a large shopping mall downstairs, and you can access it directly from the hotel for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Every room faces a park with beautiful panoramic glass windows. The room facilities are very well-equipped, everything you need is there, even makeup remover pads which I forgot to bring. Many reviews mentioned the breakfast wasn't very diverse, so I didn't book it. When I passed by the restaurant in the morning, it indeed looked like there wasn't much to eat. Lastly, the prices for items in the mini-bar didn't match what the staff described, and it wasn't clear if they were chargeable, which felt a bit opaque. Other hotel amenities are great, including direct access to the mall's rooftop garden. The pool is large and beautiful, and the gym is standard. I still highly recommend this hotel for travelers due to its exceptional location, which offers a lot of convenience.

The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the restaurant consistently serves delicious food in an elegant setting. The breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, which is a great way to start the day. The views are absolutely stunning.

The location is convenient, and we mainly used the subway and BTS with our kids, experiencing the city's different charms. Although the kids' play area on the 6th floor isn't very large, the children had a great time. Also, the room was very clean. However, the check-in wait time was quite long, and the front desk wasn't very attentive during the process. There's definitely room for improvement in this area; we sat there for a long time without even being offered a glass of water. They also didn't prepare kids' slippers or toiletries even though we had children with us; we had to call twice to get them delivered. Bangkok is extremely friendly to children and seniors, so the hotel's 'human touch' needs to be enhanced. Additionally, the breakfast could be more varied. Overall, it was very good, and we would definitely stay here a second and third time.

Facilities: Brand new! Unbeatable, impeccable. It's a Hou Fu Ming design that blends old-money style with modern flair, and most importantly, it's all very new! The pool and sky bar are both excellent. Service: Check-in was a little slow, but they offered compensation, which is understandable given the hotel was fully booked.
