Dusit Thani Bangkok

This is my second stay here, and overall, it's 100% perfect. The hotel is luxurious and elegant throughout. I've enjoyed the breakfast, pool facilities, and rooftop bar service. From the attentive receptionist during check-in to the proactive and thoughtful waitstaff at breakfast who offered service even before I asked, and the quick-responding pool attendant who came to greet me – it truly touched my heart. I will definitely book here again next time. Plus, there's a large shopping mall right downstairs with dining, entertainment, and massage options, and it connects directly to both BTS and MRT, making it super convenient to get anywhere.

The room view was exceptionally stunning and beautiful, and the pool view was also gorgeous with a vast, open scenery! The late-night pork basil rice from room service was exceptionally delicious, and the rooftop Sky Bar was breathtakingly beautiful with fantastic drinks too.

Have stayed at Dusit Thani Bangkok numerous times already! Truly feel it is the king of local Thai hotel brands. The rooms are designed to be extremely spacious and very comfortable. The large windows with stunning views are a major highlight. Highly recommended!

On the first day of our stay, the front desk and concierge staff accompanied us to our room with our luggage. However, when we entered the first room, there was no electricity. So, we all had to go back to the lobby on the first floor to switch to another room. The front desk offered two complimentary cocktail vouchers as compensation. At the 39M rooftop bar, we were advised that smoking was not allowed indoors and that we should sit in the highest outdoor area. But when we got outside, we were told the smoking area was closed and that we would have to walk to the very top floor to smoke, and even then, no ashtray was provided. On the last day, the night before check-out, I tried to negotiate with the front office about a late check-out until 2:00 PM. I was told it could only be extended until 1:00 PM. Later, a male staff member from the front office very impatiently agreed to 1:30 PM, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. We spent 3600 Thai Baht at the bar on both nights, but we didn't receive the corresponding polite service. The service and attitude at this hotel don't match its price point. While the hardware facilities are indeed quite new, the overall stay experience was not good, mainly due to issues with the soft services provided by the staff. I definitely won't choose to stay at this hotel again.

Overall, a great experience. The location is very convenient, with malls and parks nearby. The shopping mall right next door is an absolute food paradise. Ms. Chutima at the hotel lobby buffet restaurant was extremely nice and provided attentive service. The hotel was considerate of our needs, extending our check-out time and arranging a room change. The staff we met in the elevators were all very friendly, kindly pointing out directions and even escorting us part of the way. Looking forward to the front desk staff and doormen being a bit more enthusiastic next time—it would make the stay even more delightful 😊

I couldn't stop thinking about this hotel after my last stay. The location is super convenient, with a large shopping mall right downstairs! Plus, you can easily walk to all the dining options without needing a taxi. The place is clean and tidy, and the service is great!

The floor-to-ceiling windows in the hotel were a wonderful surprise. Whether on a rainy or sunny day, the vibe felt truly unique. Highly recommend their sky bar, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Bangkok's night skyline.

We arrived at 3 PM, but our room wasn't ready. We waited 20 minutes, and the front desk said it wouldn't be ready until after 4 PM. To apologize, they offered complimentary drinks at the first-floor restaurant, free breakfast for our child, an extra child's bed, and upgraded our room to a higher floor. Every staff member in the hotel lobby greeted guests warmly, and they were incredibly enthusiastic when we asked for directions – it felt genuinely heartfelt! On our last day, since we were heading straight to the airport, they also allowed us a late check-out. The hotel breakfast was truly excellent. You can order coffee, eggs Benedict, or pancakes, and the staff will bring them directly to your table. One small observation: the hotel seems to seat guests by nationality. On our second day, because I was wearing a baseball cap and my son and husband have 'small eyes,' we were seated in a section entirely filled with Koreans – it was quite amusing 😆. The 5th-floor pool is quite beautiful, but it can get crowded with guests, and the lounge chairs fill up quickly. The hotel is directly connected to the adjacent mall, which is great for shopping. Downstairs in the mall, there's a food court with many Michelin-starred eateries! We saw monitor lizards in the park across the street, which my son absolutely loved!

This hotel is truly excellent. The views are great and the facilities are good. The only downsides were a slight odor from the air conditioning and also a strange smell in the breakfast area. Everything else was really good.
