Went there for a company team-building event, and the hotel was excellent. The balcony was huge, and the night view was stunning. We went during the off-season, so it wasn't crowded. It's located right in the ancient town scenic area, but there weren't many dining options nearby. I imagine prices might be higher during peak season, and they even upgraded our room. Very nice!

Booked the presidential suite. Hotel is in the old town so no cars can drive in. We had to alight with our luggages at the old town entrance and walked through the old town before reaching the hotel. Hotel dies not have lift and no service to help bring luggages to the suite. We had to drag our luggages and walked a long long way before climbing up the stairs to reach our room. Staff service is not too bad. Breakfast is ok only. Good view from our room though, very near to the scenic spot.

The room design of Chongqing Qianjiang Bamaodao Hotel is acceptable. The room overlooks the river and has a view of the world's first wind and rain bridge, which is a good experience. I just wanted to lean on the railing and look out, but the paint on the wooden railing peeled off, and the wood itself could not withstand the erosion of wind and rain, so I got dirty! There is no handheld shower in the shower room, which is very inconvenient when taking a shower, and many important parts cannot be rinsed clean. Breakfast was too simple. However, apart from B&Bs/inns, there are no proper hotels in the area! What can I do?

The hotel closest to the Wind and Rain Covered Bridge is antique, clean, tidy and very comfortable! We chose a room facing the river with a view of the covered bridge.
