Lisboeta Macau

The location is a bit close to the East Asian Games Dome. A taxi from Macau Airport costs around 60 MOP. It's about a 13-15 minute walk from the Grand Lisboa Palace, but if you're not familiar with the area, be aware that there are slopes and you can't just cross the road anywhere. If you have a lot of luggage or small children, just take a taxi! Check-in was smooth. I was worried about the room card, so I didn't book through an agent. I really liked the highest room type! It has a 'hui' character layout with a three-part bathroom for privacy, and the sofa bed in the living room can be opened with bedding provided! They gave us a birthday cake upon check-in and plenty of bottled water. We also received skip-the-line tickets for the Wynn Palace gondola, a voucher for MaMi Egg Waffles, two 50 MOP Angel's Cafe vouchers, and a shopping mall discount booklet! You can get 20% off go-karting and souvenirs! Business was good, and they allowed a late checkout until 12 PM. Express checkout and free luggage storage were also available! Although there's no casino, there are shuttle buses to Wynn Palace, but airport buses are less frequent! Our room type included three breakfasts, but if yours doesn't, you can find a better deal on Dianping for group-buy breakfasts! The room was quiet and clean! Perfect for adult children traveling with their parents!

Overall, my stay was pretty standard. The hotel's location is good, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The room had all the basic amenities, the bed was reasonably comfortable, and it was generally clean. However, there were a few minor drawbacks: the soundproofing in the room wasn't great, and I could faintly hear noises from the hallway; also, some facilities were a bit dated. The front desk staff were friendly, and check-in/check-out was efficient. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was fine for a simple meal to fill up. The hotel's public areas were decent, and getting around was easy. If they could renovate some of the equipment and improve the soundproofing, the experience would be much better. All in all, it's suitable for a temporary stopover, and worth considering if you don't have high expectations for your accommodation.

This time, to catch the 2026 WTT Macao Champions tournament, I specifically chose the Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel, which is right next to the Macao East Asian Games Dome. Even though it was my first stay, my overall impression was excellent. The room was spacious and bright, and the amenities met all my needs. The housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help. The hotel's partner restaurant, Seng Choi Café, deserves a special mention. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, lunch offered options for every budget, afternoon tea was flexible, dinner had diverse flavors, and late-night snacks were available throughout. The restaurant staff were all warm, polite, and attentive to every detail. What’s more, the prices were reasonable, and hotel guests enjoyed various discounts. Although the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, it's only a few minutes' walk to the Grand Lisboa Palace next door, and there's also a shuttle bus. It's about a ten-minute walk to Wynn Palace and MGM Cotai. From these places, you can take free shuttle buses to wherever you want to go, which is super convenient. Downstairs, there are shops in the mall, as well as a few cha chaan tengs and McDonald's. What I liked most was how quiet the hotel is. There's no [missing word, likely 'casino' or 'bar'] downstairs, so you don't get a lot of random people, making it perfect for traveling with kids. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Macau. Traveling during the off-season offered excellent value for money. The service was also great; whenever I called for something, it arrived within five minutes. Absolutely fantastic.

The pillows in the room were terrible, way too high. I didn't get any sleep all night. Plus, the price wasn't great, and the location wasn't good either; it's quite a distance from Wynn Palace.

Great! The room isn't outdated, and there's a shopping mall on the first floor with plenty of food options. The Brown & Friends Cafe is on the second floor, and it's actually connected to the L'Occitane store – I thought they were separate buildings! There are Brown & Friends elements everywhere, I absolutely loved it!

This hotel offers excellent value for money in Taipa. The retro-style decor is beautiful and clean. Its location, slightly away from Taipa's busiest area and without a casino, makes it very quiet. Breakfast is available at one of three restaurants in the downstairs mall; I chose the Western buffet, which was a bit simple.
