Harbour Grand Kowloon

I can only say I'm incredibly satisfied with this place, haha! It offers a front-row sea view and amazing value for money. Many reviewers mentioned getting room upgrades, but I think we missed out because we did self-check-in. The hotel's interior doesn't feel old-fashioned at all, and for Hong Kong, where space is precious, the rooms are surprisingly spacious! The transportation is also super convenient. All in all, I'm completely delighted.

We booked this hotel last minute due to a typhoon, and it turned out to be a great choice! The location is super convenient, close to the Whampoa MTR station. Our room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable. I think their garden view rooms would be perfect for a family of three. The hotel is right by the sea, so if it weren't for the typhoon, it would have been lovely to take a stroll outside in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, enjoying the sea breeze.

Despite the typhoon and constant rain, the hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room was spotless. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

Honestly, this was the worst experience I've had staying at a five-star hotel, and it's the first time I'm writing such a long review: First off, the room wasn't at all like the 'sea view' advertised. With tall buildings on both sides, the sea view was only a tiny sliver in the middle, definitely not worth the price. Then, after checking in, I found bloodstains! They were right on the non-slip bath mat, as shown in the picture. The bath towels also had a strange smell, and the bathtub wasn't cleaned properly. You can imagine how poor the overall hygiene conditions were. The compensation offered wasn't satisfactory; initially, they just wanted to switch rooms and be done with it. I had to keep pushing for something better, but in the end, they couldn't offer a solution that fit my itinerary. The staff even started getting impatient during our discussions… Throughout the entire conversation, they kept trying to avoid admitting it was blood, attempting to pass it off as just a stain. Blood and a stain are not the same thing, are they? 😂 All in all, it definitely didn't live up to a five-star experience. Unbelievable.

The service was excellent. They helped me with my luggage and opened the door when I arrived, and even held an umbrella for me in the rain. Everyone was very polite. The room was also great, and I could enjoy the Victoria Harbour view every day. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Everything about the room was satisfactory, and it was quiet at night. The cleaning staff were professional and polite. It's a perfect hotel for sea views! It's very convenient to get to by subway, close to both Hung Hom and Whampoa stations. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby, making it especially suitable for independent travelers!

The views are beautiful, it's very clean, and the service is great. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping. Taking a walk in the evening offers beautiful scenery. The only downside is that smoking isn't allowed.
