Redang Divers Resort

We had a wonderful stay! The beach is right at the doorstep and the scenery is stunning—waking up here every day was a pure treat. Everyone at the hotel was so warm and welcoming, and the service was exceptional. A staff member met us at the pier as soon as we arrived and saw us off when we left. Several of the owners speak Chinese, which made communication a breeze. The food was fantastic too—we kept ordering the french fries because they were just so delicious! It's gorgeous both day and night, and offers incredible value for money.

The rooms and accommodations are great, and the beach is beautiful. It's quieter and has calmer waves than Laguna, highly recommended.

The location is excellent, with a beautiful beach and clear water nearby, and lots of fish close to the shore. There are many squirrels on the property, and a restaurant that's open until 8 PM. The room only had beds and a few small tables. It felt cramped. There were 3 beds downstairs and 2 upstairs. It was very stuffy upstairs; there's a fan, but it's falling apart and useless. The bathroom was completely empty: no toothbrushes, soap, etc. There were large gaps in the floor and under the door, so insects, cockroaches, and centipedes crawled into the room, which was quite unpleasant. The price is way too high; the room definitely doesn't justify it.

By Redang standards, this is an affordable option. The room needs an update, especially the toilet and shower. I understand the hotel has a new owner who is gradually renovating the rooms. For a family of 5, it's an excellent room – plenty of beds and a two-level layout (the kids loved it), clean bed linen, a well-functioning air conditioner, and a small terrace by the room where you can dry clothes. A mini-fridge and bathroom amenities (shampoo, soap, etc.) were missing.

Great value for money, and the owner is super nice!

The view is nice, but one of the staff members wearing a hat was extremely unfriendly, which really ruined our mood for the trip. Everyone else was quite friendly, though the facilities are a bit dated.

Very comfortable, worth a visit.
