The corner room offers simply stunning views! The hotel itself is also great and creatively designed. It's clean inside, and there's a warm-water pool. Definitely recommend it.

Very cute design hotel with a cozy atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and lovely details throughout the property. I especially loved the lounge and game room area — I ended up spending almost three hours working on a puzzle there and hope someone finishes it after me! The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I didn’t try the hot tub though, as it is located in the middle of the hotel and felt a bit too exposed since people can easily look at you from around the property.

Great location! Wonderful service! You can see the Northern Lights right from the window! Clean, comfortable, and just 5 minutes away from the lagoon and other local attractions.

There's a huge difference in room size between the standard room and the family room, especially the bathroom size. Room rates have been increasing in recent years. If the slight price difference isn't an issue for you, I'd definitely recommend upgrading to a family room – it's significantly more comfortable.

The biggest drawback of Lake Myvatn is the overwhelming number of mosquitoes. We didn't dare open the windows, which made the room a bit stuffy. The hotel amenities provided were quite good, but the stay was really expensive!
