YummyHill Youth Hostel

I booked for the location, right outside xiaoshizi metro exit 9, 10min walk to hongaydong, 15min walk to jeifangbei. Theres a food court below underground and some great stores! The hostel is quiet even though you will see lots of people in the common area, however its not a social place. Everyone keeps to themself... The staff are polite and helpful. I booked the sakura room and its a great size, spacious for a solo traveller, has everything you need. Air con is great, hairdryer, 2 bottles of water daily, cotton bath towels, tv with usb compatibility so you can watch your own tv shows and movies. I would recommend to stay here. There are several cats here - they just sleep all day and night, quiet and super cute!

The location is great. The pre arrival info sent out was on spot. Reception staff can speak English. They have a kitchen you could use. The only drawback was that the shower floods into the room, at least in the one I stayed making it uncomfortable to walk on especially to access the toilet and sink etc. The other drawback was that they have multiple cute cats in the complex and they tell you this only before you checkin, the money is already paid if you are allergic and I didn’t appreciate the cat being on my top bunk bed, I do have mild allergies to fur and sneezed all night.
