Staff was friendly! Lots of variety for breakfast too! My toddler enjoyed the stay, especially the pool~

This hotel despite being a old hotel is still very well maintained. Staffs are well trained, speaks excellent English. Service was impeccable at breakfast. I am impressed at the service of 2 staffs at Satoo, a Mas Firman and Mbak Bunga. Excellent service This hotel deserves the moniker of grand old dame

Our stay at Shangri-La Jakarta was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the genuine warmth and professionalism of the team stood out. Every interaction felt sincere, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. What impressed us most was the exceptional care shown to our children. The team paid attention to the little details, interacted warmly with them, and made them feel special throughout our stay. Those thoughtful touches created a wonderful family experience and made a lasting impression. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, while the facilities were excellent. The breakfast offered a great variety with high-quality food, and the overall dining experience was equally impressive. We had an awesome time at Shangrila Jakarta. Booking the clubroom was the best decision as we could have free flow drinks, afternoon tea and evening canapes. For those with children and not allowed into the lounge during evening time, they have allocated an area in the lobby lounge for families to enjoy their evening canapes and adults could still order any alcohol drinks served ala carte should they desire to do so—all inclusive. Lounge food was delicious. There were scones, salmon, smoked salmon sandwiches, profiteroles, sushi, satay, cakes etc. we would absolutely do the same should we be going to Jakarta again. There’s also a water playground with water slides and big tipping bucket for children. Pool is big and enjoyable. There are also fringe activities for children like bracelet making and also a bouncy castle and a swing. Rooms were kept clean and tidy and the toilet (with separate bathtub and shower) was huge! Room temperature control was accurate and good too. The only thing is that it is not located walking distance/connected to the big malls. But taking a bluebird cab out to mega malls is easy and also of budget cost. Breakfast spread is amazing and seating was fast too. Kids were also greeted with goodie bags on arrival. Good hotel for families, have waterpark, good for kids, everything is good in this hotel

Always the best hotel to stay at. Great service from the staff, from concierge, receptionist and even the all day dining Satoo restaurant staff. Very friendly and always helpful. Rooms and public areas are well taken care of. Smell good too.
