Magnolia Hotel St. Louis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The hotel is pleasant, with business travelers commenting that the building is nearly a century old and the surroundings are relatively safe. It's a Hilton hotel, and the service is quite good. However, the amenities are lacking: the hotel doesn't provide toiletries or slippers; breakfast is included, but you can only choose one item from a wide menu; and leaving with a coffee is an additional charge, without prior notice. Overall, the price isn't as good as comparable domestic hotels.

The conference was held at the American Center, which was nice because it was so close. The facilities weren't that great, and it was an old building, so it smelled a bit. Other than that, everything was fine.
