PinkCoco Gili Air - Constant Surprises & for Cool Adults Only

Absolutely loved Pink Coco on Gili Air. Beautiful rooms, spacious bathroom with amenities. Nightly turndown service with homemade shortbread treats. Tea/coffee and bottled water in room. We had a grande room opposite the swimming pool which was great for getting a few lengths in. Honesty bar which is currently free due to neighbouring building works, however noise was minimal and we were not inconvenienced by it. Located near outside eateries and bars. If not up to walking you can hire bikes or use a cidomo. Staff were beyond lovely. Food exceptional, breakfast choices great and plenty of it. Would return and recommend to anyone, also adults only which was nice.

What can I say this place was amazing and very pink!! The staff was great and very friendly, attention to detail fantastic and the food and amenities fabulous! The moment we came, nothing was too much trouble and the location stunning! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!!

I feel sorry to write this review, especially as this was my second stay at PinkCoco. Unfortunately, once again, I felt that the staff did not live up to the standard of the hotel. During my first stay, I experienced repeated issues with communication: I had to ask the same questions several times, received incorrect information, and when the pool was out of service for an entire day, the information provided by the staff continued to be inaccurate. This time, the situation was much more serious. A medical emergency meant that we could not travel and eventually had to be medically repatriated. I never asked the hotel for a refund; I only needed a document confirming that the payment would not be refunded so that I could submit it to my travel insurance. I had to request this more than once. What disappointed me most was the initial lack of empathy. Despite explaining that we were dealing with a serious health emergency and medical repatriation, there was initially no acknowledgement of the situation or even a simple wish for a speedy recovery. Only after I mentioned this lack of empathy did I receive such a response. It is a shame because PinkCoco is a lovely hotel, but in my experience the level of service and communication from the staff does not match the quality of the property.

I've already stayed at PinkCoco in Bali, and this one in Gili Air is just as amazing. Clean, stylish, delicious, and overall great. Same as before, however, it would be great to have a body lotion and hair conditioner instead of, for example, pajamas.

This was such a quirky, unique place to stay. Regularly people would stop and take photos from the entrance and have a look. The best part was the way they made you welcome with special treats such as trays of nibbles, health shots and sweet treats. Thoughtful gifts were left in the room like a hair decoration, face mask and shortbreads. They provided his and her PJ’s. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to serve. Entertainment of a night was good as was the restaurant. It was dedicated to preserving the environment providing no plastic sink bottles and reusable shopping bag.

Had a wonderful stay at PinkCoco! The surprises are wonderful and second (only) to the breakfast offering! We had dinner on the beach with a fire show on our first night and it was a wonderful experience with fantastic food. We left Gili Air for Lombok and (in a five minute chat) organised a private boat transfer and driver to our next hotel for a more-than-reasonable price. Service, food and vibes were all top-notch!
