Xitang Hotel (Xi'an Dayan Tower Datang Buyecheng)

Upon checking in, the hotel staff immediately recommended the Xi'an city tour bus, "Chang'an Xunmeng." The location is excellent, the room is spacious enough, and it offers great value for money. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again.

Facilities: Very close to the bustling Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Cleanliness: Clean and fragrant. Environment: Poor soundproofing, can hear conversations from next door. Service: Very attentive, they provide whatever you need. I requested hangers in my notes, and they provided plenty. Super close to the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, right downstairs. The subway entrance is also right downstairs.

It's quite close to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but the service really needs improvement. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, where they usually have dine-in service with large round tables. The reason I say the service needs improvement is that the customer service staff definitely need more training on their operational procedures.

The room size was misrepresented; after paying extra for an upgrade, the new room was even smaller. My partner and I both broke out in rashes from the bedsheets and duvet covers – they were incredibly itchy. Those with sensitive skin should really beware; I don't know how many chemicals they use in their laundry. We had to take anti-allergy medicine in the middle of the night just to get back to sleep. I hoped changing the sheets the next day would help, but when we returned in the evening, we found they hadn't even replaced the duvet cover. The soundproofing in the room was terrible. After a tiring day of sightseeing, we were woken up by incredibly loud renovation work, complete with power drills, early in the morning. The un-upgraded room's window faced a hallway. While the upgraded room had a window, it looked directly onto the wall of a nearby village house – just a wall, no view at all, making it feel like we were back in the countryside. The laundry room was quite a distance away, and during holidays, you had to fight with other guests to use it.

My stay here was incredibly satisfying. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable experience. The hotel's location is excellent; it's very close to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, just a short walk away, and the subway station is right nearby, making transportation to various attractions incredibly convenient. Even though it's located near a tourist area, the room itself was very quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. On my last day, I was delayed visiting the Terracotta Warriors and missed the regular check-out time. However, the hotel didn't charge any extra fees upon my return, which was incredibly thoughtful and showed great customer service. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. This is a perfect choice for travelers, and I'd definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Xi'an. I also highly recommend it to any friends visiting the city.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel was very clean, the room had no strange odors, and the bathroom facilities were complete with stable hot water. The staff were friendly and responsive to any issues. The common areas were clean and the environment was quiet, allowing for a good rest. The location is great, making travel convenient. Overall, it offers good value for money and I highly recommend it to everyone.

The room was very clean, affordable, and ideally located. It's a short 15-minute walk to the Shaanxi History Museum and also very close to the Grand Tang Everbright City, making it super convenient for wearing traditional costumes. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is fantastic, right outside the subway exit. Finding places to eat was also very easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely recommend this place next time I'm in Xi'an or if friends visit.

I personally feel this hotel offers great value for money: First, the location is excellent. Second, it's convenient for shopping. Third, the subway station is easily accessible. Fourth, everything was clean, except for a few minor chips on some bathroom tiles. Fifth, downstairs is the Grand Tang Everbright City, which gets incredibly crowded at night. While there might be some noise issues due to this, I found it acceptable. After all, when you're tired from walking, you just fall asleep the moment you get back, so it's not a big deal. Sixth, the restaurant on the sixth floor offers fair prices and generous portions. The 118-yuan set meal was too much for two people to finish. I'd suggest reducing portion sizes and lowering the price to attract more customers. Also, more promotion would be beneficial. Seventh, although the room wasn't large, it was very clean, and the service was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning ladies upstairs were wonderful. Eighth, considering the room rate and its prime location, I think it's a very fair deal.
