Hotel 8 Hours

This was my first time staying here. The location might be a bit tricky to find at first, as it's tucked away down a small alley, but it's very close to the station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafes. The separate toilet and shower, along with the flushable toilet paper, were key factors in my decision to book this place. As other reviews mentioned, there's no dedicated changing area, so it might feel a bit awkward if you're staying with someone else. I really appreciated that they held my luggage both before check-in and after check-out.

The location is great; you can easily walk to Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong from here. Downstairs, right outside the hotel, it's very convenient with many restaurants and a convenience store just around the corner. However, since the beds in the room are bunk beds as shown in the pictures, I wouldn't recommend it for families with young children. I was the one who booked the hotel, and my friend said the bed was very comfortable – not too soft, not too hard, just right for sleeping. The only slight drawback is that the drain often had an odor, probably due to older plumbing. But since we were out all day and only came back at night to shower and sleep, it was acceptable for the price.

I booked this hotel because it was in a good location and affordable. It's a decent hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, nothing particularly good or bad about it.

Plenty of restaurants around the hotel! The transport links aren't too bad either! If you just need a room to sleep in, then it's perfectly fine! The room I stayed in had the toilet and shower combined, with only a curtain as a partition, so it got soaking wet, haha. The hairdryer was only in the toilet area, and there was only one mirror, which made putting on makeup difficult! But hey, it was cheap, so it's alright!

I chose this place primarily for its affordability. The room had no windows and felt a bit cramped. The lighting wasn't very bright either, which might be a little inconvenient for female guests. However, the location was great; it's just a few minutes' walk from City Hall Station and you can even walk to Myeongdong, so I was happy with that.

We were looking for a room with three single beds, which was hard to find. The room was compact with no windows. The sheets, toilet, and shower were clean. Slippers, a hairdryer, bath amenities, and a hanger rack – everything essential was provided. The toilet and shower were also separate. The front desk staff, though not overly chatty, were very kind. There are cups in the room, so you can have coffee at the front desk in the morning. When I looked confused about how to do it, a hotel staff member (I think?) quickly came to my aid. Very helpful! And best of all, the location is excellent. Myeongdong is a short walk away, so I didn't have to worry about getting back even if it got a bit late. Taxis were also easy to catch near the hotel.

The staff were very kind, offering an adapter and speaking Japanese, which was a great help. The separate toilet and shower, along with excellent water pressure, made for a comfortable stay. While the location felt a bit sketchy late at night, it was convenient to walk to both Myeongdong and Seoul Station.

This place was surprisingly clean for the price, which made for a very comfortable stay. It had a unique bunk bed-like setup, but the bottom bunk had enough space next to the bed to fully open my suitcase. Just a heads-up, there's no changing area between the bathroom and the room, so it's probably best for close friends.
