Liupanshui・Guizhou Hotel

The hotel is right next to Fengchi Garden and Shuicheng Ancient Town, and bus route 1 is conveniently located nearby, making getting around very easy. The service attitude is excellent; they are always ready to answer any questions. The room facilities are complete, and the bedding is very comfortable. The room also provides various snacks, 6 bottles of complimentary mineral water, and free supper in the first-floor restaurant at night, featuring delicious pork rib noodle soup. Breakfast is very rich, and the hotel has a strong capacity to handle guests. Food is continuously replenished throughout the breakfast hours, from 7 AM to 11 AM, which is great 👍. The hotel does not have an underground parking garage, but there are plenty of ground-level parking spaces, perfect for those traveling by car. The elevators are efficient, making going up and down very convenient and fast. At the street-front entrance, you can buy steamed buns, various braised dishes, and small side dishes made by the hotel's own restaurant. With government subsidies currently available, I highly recommend staying here.

Parking was convenient, but as an older hotel, it's definitely showing its age. The room had an odor when I entered, so I had to open the windows to air it out. Breakfast was very crowded, and I had to find my own table. The price was too high for the peak season.

This old hotel is well-maintained and boasts an excellent location. The rooms offer stunning views of the vast lake and mountains, and it's just a hundred meters from the ancient town and the Three Gorges Museum, which left a deep impression after my visit. Very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is quiet and the service is excellent; they responded quickly to my calls whenever I needed something. The room has carpet, which keeps it soundproof, and what I loved most was the office space – perfect for someone like me who travels for business with a laptop.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's super convenient, offering great value for money, and the gym facilities are top-notch. There's a food street right next door, which makes dining out incredibly easy, and a museum and park are also close by. Simply amazing!

Guizhou Hotel is conveniently located near Liupanshui City's ancient town, making it lively and accessible. Opened in 2013, the guest rooms are quite spacious, and while the decor leans towards darker tones, it's clear they're well-maintained. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Breakfast is served in the large, bright, and upscale restaurant on the first floor, offering a huge variety of dishes!

This hotel is really classy and stylish, with beautiful surroundings, including a lake. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is fantastic.

Overall, it's a standard five-star hotel. It's clearly been renovated, and the hard furnishings are solid. However, it retains some traditional hotel drawbacks: not enough power outlets and poorly designed ones, plus unstable Wi-Fi. There's only one bedside table, not an inch more. The lighting control buttons are so worn you can't read the text, and the design is strange; I never did find the hallway light. The breakfast was truly odd – it seemed abundant at first glance, but then you start to question it. There was a very limited selection of Chinese pastries. The bacon, wherever they sourced it, tasted like sausage no matter what, which was very strange. Considering the price, it's acceptable, but by five-star standards, it felt like they just barely met the mark.
