Before our arrival, the butler proactively added us on WeChat and sent thoughtful check-in tips, making us feel cared for even before we left home. On the day of our trip, the butler reconfirmed our license plate number and pre-registered it, so when we pulled up to the hotel entrance, the security guard verified our booking name and immediately directed us to parking, then informed the butler to meet us. The butler was already waiting with our room key cards, helped us with our luggage, and drove us directly to the villa in a golf cart. We completed the check-in process right in our room, completely bypassing the front desk hassle, which was incredibly convenient. The butler was enthusiastic and attentive from check-in to check-out, accommodating most requests that weren't excessive. Their responsiveness and service were excellent; we were super, super satisfied. The room itself was very spacious, with a large separate living room, and the courtyard even had a big lawn that our child happily ran around on the moment we arrived. The hot spring pool was wonderfully relaxing; soaking in it at night with the mountain breeze was incredibly pleasant. The housekeeping staff were warm, kept the room spotless, and always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, but what truly impressed me was the freshly cooked Guangning wontons. It was my first time trying them, and they were indeed fantastic: tender skin, succulent filling, thin wrapper, and a rich, hot pork bone broth. Adding a bit of pepper made them even better. The chef cooking the wontons even proactively asked if we wanted more, which was very heartwarming. Given the hotel's remote and tranquil location, dining out wasn't very convenient, so we had dinner at the hotel. We ordered steamed duck with 'ditantou' (local herb) and stir-fried bamboo shoots with roasted pork, both of which had an authentic local flavor. The server mentioned that most of the ingredients were grown or raised by the hotel itself, and you could definitely taste the freshness. The restaurant staff were also exceptionally warm and accommodating, providing excellent service. They even proactively offered a high chair when they saw we had a baby and thoughtfully asked if the food suited our taste. During the day, we enjoyed kayaking, cycling, and a very picturesque swimming pool with clean water. The kayaking instructor was also very nice and shared recommendations for local food and attractions in Guangning. There was also a large, beautiful lotus pond. The biggest surprise was visiting the farm to pick vegetables on our check-out day. Our child had never been in a field before and had an absolute blast. The farm auntie was incredibly kind, helping us pick vegetables and asking if we had enough. She even gave us some extra to take home, so we left with a full harvest. Overall, while the facilities might not be overly luxurious or comprehensive, for me, the great environment, fresh air, comfortable stay, and most importantly, the heartfelt service from every single staff member – from the butler to security, housekeeping, restaurant staff, pool attendant, and farm auntie – made all the difference. Everyone was incredibly genuine and enthusiastic. This warmth is more precious than anything. This trip was truly worthwhile, and we will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.

Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive. The kitchen has an induction hob, though we opted for a BBQ instead of cooking ourselves. We brought our own ingredients, and the hotel provided the grill, charcoal, seasonings, disposable cutlery, etc. While there was a charge, having a BBQ in the courtyard was very pleasant. It would be even better if there was a rack near the hot spring pool to hang towels and bathrobes. Cleanliness: Very good, no obvious dirt visible to the naked eye. Environment: Nestled by mountains and water, the air is fresh. Because the place is large and not crowded, it feels very spacious, even a bit quiet. It's perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet, offering a sense of secluded escape. Service: The butler was a handsome young man. Both check-in and check-out were handled with in-room service. We bothered the butler quite a bit during our stay for things like booking the BBQ grill, putting up sun umbrellas, moving camping chairs, and clearing trash. All staff members were friendly and responsive, which we greatly appreciated. This trip was to celebrate my mom's birthday, and our whole family had a wonderful weekend. The hotel even provided simple birthday decorations and a small cake, making it feel very special. On the day after we checked in, we happened to catch a local cycling race, which was very lively. The only suggestion for improvement would be the Western pastries at breakfast; I hope they could offer freshly made options like freshly baked waffles.

You can soak in the hot spring in a private area, and they even offer complimentary fruit upon check-in. There's also a dedicated shuttle service within the resort. It's a great place for relaxation, sports, and wellness.

Nestled amidst mountains and water, this hotel offers a wonderfully quiet and comfortable retreat. A huge thank you to the butler who upgraded us to a family suite, complete with an extra bunk bed and a private courtyard featuring its own hot spring dipping pool. Getting around the property was a breeze thanks to the hotel's convenient shuttle service. In the evening, our children enjoyed boating while we simply relaxed by the lake, soaking in the tranquil views. The scenery here is absolutely stunning! As a thoughtful touch, upon check-out, we were even given some freshly picked vegetables. Our experience was truly exceptional, and we highly recommend it!

This is arguably the best pet-friendly hotel I've stayed at in the province, boasting an excellent environment and exceptionally warm service. The resort even went as far as building a dedicated new road directly from the highway to its entrance. From the moment we drove in, staff greeted us by name, swiftly assisting with our luggage and taking it straight to our room. The level of service felt comparable to what you'd find at Hoshino Resorts. The room's minibar offered 7-8 types of complimentary soft drinks, and there were also 7-8 varieties of free fresh fruit. All in-room amenities were individually packaged. Staff members always passed by with a smile, exuding a positive and proactive attitude, and they were also incredibly accommodating and friendly towards dogs. There were plenty of activities available, including an infinity pool, paddling, fishing, and vegetable picking, all of which were very well-maintained. Each room is equipped with an induction cooktop, making it perfect for families to bring their own ingredients for an evening BBQ or a 'camping-style' meal. While it's about a 10-minute drive from the hotel if you want to dine out – the local river delicacies and bamboo shoots in Guangning were incredibly delicious – my only minor gripe was that the mattress was exceptionally firm; I actually found the sofa more comfortable for sleeping.

The restaurant serves excellent, authentic Cantonese cuisine. We caught a large fish and had them prepare it. The fish soup was incredibly flavorful, and the steamed fish was wonderfully sweet, tender, and silky smooth – simply divine! The lake is fed by pure mountain spring water, which also irrigates the vegetables in their garden. Such premium, fresh ingredients truly only need simple cooking to shine.
