JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur

The hotel knew it was my birthday and prepared a special celebration, which was a lovely touch. The service was excellent, and they even upgraded me to a room with a corner window. The room was very comfortable, and the bed was huge. It's a shame the TV didn't have Netflix connectivity, which was a bit disappointing. There's also a swimming pool upstairs. Overall, the facilities are pretty good.

The room was great, and all the staff were super friendly. Especially loved how convenient it was to just pop downstairs and go shopping! I'll definitely stay here again next time. I didn't get a chance to check out the gym this time, but I'll make sure to experience it on my next visit, haha.

Great location, surrounded by malls. The breakfast offered a good variety. I requested an early check-in, and the front desk notified me as soon as a room was available and even upgraded it for me. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time! 👍🏻

The hotel's location is indeed central, but the rooms are quite old. It's very convenient for walking and shopping! There are tons of food options nearby, which is a shame because I only stayed one night. A taxi to the airport costs about 70-80 Malaysian Ringgit.

Beyond its location, there's absolutely nothing redeeming about this hotel. 1. **Terrible Front Desk:** They even managed to get the room number wrong during check-in. 2. **Faulty Elevators:** The key card frequently failed to work for the elevator, and the elevators themselves were incredibly slow. 3. **Outdated Hotel:** It's worse than even budget chain hotels back home. 4. **Bathroom Issues:** The towels were so stiff you could describe them as rigid, and they were fraying. Plus, there was no non-slip mat in the shower. 5. **Exposed Wires:** The hairdryer in the bathroom had exposed wiring. 6. **Sagging Bed:** The bed sagged in the middle. 7. **Pushy Staff:** Hotel staff kept knocking and entering, constantly bringing water, then towels, then pillows – clearly just looking for tips, completely disregarding guest privacy and experience. 8. **Poor Cleanliness:** Limescale wasn't cleaned in the bathroom, and the countertop next to the sink was also dirty. **In summary:** If location isn't your absolute top priority, definitely avoid this place.
