My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. I will be uploading photos and videos of the Inn and my travel experience of China on my YouTube channel TheTravelDiary and goody2shoos once I'm back in the UK so look up my channel for full information and experience. This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! They offer free pick-up service from the station, and the location is incredibly convenient, right near the North Gate. It's also not too far from the city center, and the courtyard is just beautiful!

The room was very clean, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. The biggest highlight was that the owner personally picked us up from the high-speed train station and also dropped us off when we left. Many guesthouses probably don't offer this kind of service.

If you are looking for a unique experience, this is definitely the place to stay. One of the highlights of our trip to Pingyao was the host. They were incredibly kind, messaged us before we arrived in Pingyao, and even offered a free pickup service. They made sure we did not have to wait at the railway station. Their communication was always excellent, and they were very transparent with information. On our last day, the host asked for our train tickets so he could arrange the timing to drive us to the station, which was about a 20-minute ride away. Before we left, they even gave us homemade vinegar as a gift. It was such a lovely experience, and we felt so warmly welcomed throughout our stay. There are no words to describe how happy we were during our time here.

The hotel staff were amazing! We were traveling with our child and booked a family room. The courtyard was lovely too, very charming and traditional, with a beautiful and quiet environment. We slept so soundly without an alarm, we had no idea what time it was! We'll definitely come back if we have the chance!
