Li River Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Xiangshan Scenic Spot)

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of Guilin city. Both the top-floor restaurant and the rooms offer the best views of the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Downstairs, you'll find the Fir Lake, part of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area. Elephant Trunk Hill is just a 5-minute walk away. I received a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious 80-90 square meter room, complete with a separate walk-in closet, a huge terrace, and a double vanity. The welcome fruit and minibar items could be replenished upon request. The service was exceptional; staff were patient and helpful, offering bottled water when I left the hotel, and I even received essential oils as a farewell gift. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, featuring Guilin rice noodles, grilled steak, stewed chicken soup, freshly squeezed passion fruit juice, and many other made-to-order dishes. It's also rated as the top restaurant in Guangxi. The hotel offers a fantastic travel photography experience where you can choose from Miao or Zhuang ethnic costumes, enhanced by the surrounding beautiful scenery. They also offer intangible cultural heritage workshops like making traditional Chinese herbal sachets. Staying multiple nights includes a complimentary foot massage. While the swimming pool is a bit small, it's a wave pool, which is great for kids.

Family trip, fantastic scenery. The restaurant location is excellent, and the service is spot-on, especially the team leader who was very proactive. Breakfast was good. We ate several meals here, and the food tasted great. Hygiene was also well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. They were very attentive to guests even upon departure. The gentleman at the entrance provided exceptional service.

An absolutely wonderful stay! They upgraded me to a room with a better view, proactively helped me resolve an issue I had at the restaurant, and even offered a late check-out when they learned my flight was delayed. This truly saved the day, especially since I got caught in heavy rain.

The observation deck offers beautiful views of the Twin Towers and the lake. The family room is very spacious, and the bed is huge. Being on the first floor makes it easy to get in and out. The hotel provides a very well-stocked mini-bar, and breakfast is delicious. The butler and the concierge at the entrance provided excellent service. It's very close to the pedestrian street, making dining super convenient. So glad we chose this place!

The room was spotless and well-maintained. Even though the hotel has been around for a while, it doesn't feel old at all – the facilities are clearly well-kept. The location is excellent; you can walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and Dao Feng Bookstore, and you get a direct view of the Sun and Moon Pagodas right from the hotel. From the 8th-floor restaurant, you can take in the stunning karst landscape, making you feel like you're literally in a traditional Chinese painting. The hotel service was outstanding; they even offer butler service with quick response times. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guilin. Service: Excellent. The front desk explained everything thoroughly and was very responsive to all requests.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area. You can go up to the cloud restaurant and then directly access the hotel's observation deck, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas – truly beautiful scenery. We could easily walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, East and West Alleys, and Jingjiang Royal Palace, all within 5-15 minutes. This was such a pleasant surprise! We chose a family room on the first floor, which was comfortable and well-sectioned, featuring a tatami area and a walk-in closet. The Milk Dragon themed decor was a big hit with the kids! The hotel also offers unique intangible cultural heritage activities and foot massage services, which were both comfortable and relaxing. The service was warm and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend it.
