We had such a lovely time at 21 Nettleton. The setting is gorgeous and the hotel takes advantage of its stellar location with views of the ocean from so many rooms and the grounds. We enjoyed sitting on our large balcony watching the sunset and eating breakfast on the lawn overlooking the beautiful blue sea and sky. The team at the hotel was wonderful - attentive, but not too much so, helpful, interesting, and friendly. We enjoyed talking with them and getting their advice and stories. It was so nice to be in the lovely place and then dipping down into town for visits.

Our stay at 21 Nettleton in Cape Town was absolutely exceptional. This beautiful little boutique hotel truly felt like a **home away from home**, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, intimate, elegant and beautifully designed, with so many gorgeous spaces to relax and enjoy the incredible setting. Sitting around the fireplace with a glass of wine, or enjoying the beautiful balcony and watching the afternoon sunsets, were some of our favourite moments. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with its own outdoor area where we could sit and take in the sunsets. Every part of the property felt special, but it was the **people** who really made our stay unforgettable. The staff were beyond amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were incredibly accommodating and attentive without ever being intrusive. They seemed to anticipate everything we needed and arranged absolutely everything for us. The food was also delicious and added another wonderful dimension to the experience. A very special mention must go to **Roper, our concierge**, who was exceptional. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Our driver, **Harry**, also deserves a huge thank you. He was wonderful, professional and made getting around Cape Town such an enjoyable experience. We have stayed in some beautiful places around the world, but 21 Nettleton is genuinely one of those special places that stays with you. It is luxurious without feeling impersonal, intimate without feeling restrictive, and the level of service is truly outstanding. We simply cannot rate 21 Nettleton highly enough. Five stars really don’t seem enough. We would return in a heartbeat and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

21 Nettleton is a truly unique property. The location is incredible, with beautiful views over the Atlantic and Cape Town, and the entire property feels very private and peaceful. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail throughout the stay. The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed, and the service felt very personal and attentive without ever being intrusive. It’s a much more intimate experience than staying at a traditional large hotel, which made the stay feel particularly special. I had a great time and would definitely recommend 21 Nettleton to anyone looking for an exclusive and peaceful stay in Cape Town.

I stayed at 21 Nettleton for my birthday from 17 September 2025 for three nights, and I can say without hesitation that it was the most exceptional hospitality experience of my entire life. I stayed in the penthouse, and from the moment I arrived, I felt not just welcomed, but deeply taken care of. The level of attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care from the staff is something I have never experienced anywhere else in the world. This was not service, it was thoughtful, intuitive hospitality at its highest level. What made the experience truly special was how the team went beyond the walls of the property. They took time to help me understand Cape Town at its best, sharing recommendations, insights, and hidden gems that made me fall in love with the city in an entirely new way. It felt personal, intentional, and incredibly generous. The views are beyond breathtaking, something that simply cannot be captured in photos. The art, the design, the quiet elegance of the space, and the way luxury and comfort coexist so effortlessly is remarkable. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and deeply satisfying, every meal felt like a moment. 21 Nettleton is not just a hotel; it is an experience, a feeling, and a memory that stays with you long after you leave. Every single detail is considered. Every interaction is meaningful. It is worth every single cent, and then some. We have travelled the world and 21 Nettleton has the most spectacular view we have ever seen. My husband and I had an incredible time at the hotel. The food, service, staff and ambiance was a 12/10! This is a gorgeous hidden gem in Cape Town and we can highly recommend it!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Breakfast here is truly in a league of its own—far above the rest. Imagine uninterrupted views stretching out before you, the gentle sound of birdsong, and a tranquil atmosphere that makes you feel completely at one with nature and your surroundings. From the very start, the hospitality impressed me. On arrival, with the temperature soaring at 38 degrees, Nathan Berry, the house manager, welcomed us with ice-cold beverages—a thoughtful touch that was exactly what we needed. The food itself was exceptional, but what elevates the experience even further is the service. Frankie, one of the best butlers I’ve ever encountered, made the morning feel effortless and special. His warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that turned a great breakfast into an unforgettable one.

On the scorching day we had an amazing breakfast at Nettleton, out Butler Frankie was amazing, he was polite and so friendly, ensured we had everything we needed, when the sun started shifting Frankie made sure our shading shifted as well. I stayed here for a few weeks with family members to visit Cape Town and escape the winter in Milan. I hardly know where to begin with this review. Everything was 5-star, but in 2 areas it should have been higher, those of service and food. One of the amenities is "butler" service. Boy, they were not kidding. Anything I needed was kindly provided by a warm and dedicated staff. So much so that it really raises the bar for quality of service for luxury boutique hotels. Now on to the food. We were looking forward to enjoying the many fun restaurants that Cape Town has to offer, but the food served at this hotel surpassed anything else we tried. It's partially due to the talented chef and staff, but also, they aren't running a commercial restaurant kitchen; it's what I would call a mansion kitchen, where everything is made to order for you. I literally stopped leaving the hotel for dinner. This stay will be a great memory, not because Cape Town is a great holiday destination, but because of the time I spent at this incredible hotel.
