Hotel Vandivort

Room was clean. Great dining options nearby. Don't miss Gaileys for breakfast and Black Sheep for shake. Friendly staff.

The room smelled like mold and cigarettes, and there was dust on the nightstands, which made it feel unclean. I did like the large shower area. I called to request a late checkout and was told it was fine. However, when I returned after breakfast, housekeeping had already stripped the room and removed towels. The front desk said they assumed I had checked out and did nothing to fix it—only apologized—leaving me without basic amenities for my remaining two hours.

The hotel was beautiful, and the amenities were nice. We had a balcony room that had a beautiful view of the city. The staff was kind and courteous, and the rooftop bar was great. The record player was a nice added touch as well. However, we did not have toiletries in the shower as they did not get refilled and the floor needed mopped in the room.

Wonderful trip! The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. I was happy with the valet service. They were very nice and efficient. The hotel is beautiful. Many spots to sit inside by the fireplace or outside. The room was beyond my expectations. Everything was spotless. The bathroom was clean and had a nice large shower. The bed was perfect. The balcony was the cherry on top. Gorgeous sunset views. A nice energy from downtown at night. Loved the record player in the room. There’s a nice vinyl shop across the street. Everything was so exquisitely finished and clean. The restaurant was divine. I loved everything there I tried. The waiters were very professional and attentive. I met several interesting and experienced waiters. I highly recommend staying at the Vandavort It’s a really lovely experience. It’s in downtown with lots of interesting shops and close proximity to the Convention Center.

We loved our stay! Super clean, updated and wonderful amenities. Staff were very helpful when our car starter died while waiting for valet. We travelled with our small dog, and was easy to have him with us. The gym was nice, as was the rooftop bar (the staff were so energetic and fun). We walked around the neighborhood and went to cute shops and good restaurants. Super convenient to lots of Springfield's offerings.

Hotel Vandivort is my favorite spot to stay in Springfield. It's clean, the staff is excellent, easy to park, great food options within walking distance and overall great rooms.

The staff was great… the mattress was awful. We checked out early because I was in so much pain from that mattress.

A superb location, excellent roof top bar, well appointed fitness center and restaurant.

We love staying at the Vandivort. Rooms are so comfy, and we just love the property!
