The Sofitel Guiyang Hunter has left me with unique memories. Unlike the typical rigid luxury of a five-star hotel, it subtly blends the distinct character of Guiyang, a city nestled among mountains, into its spaces. From the 55th-floor lobby and hallways to the guest rooms, you can find local cultural details hidden in every corner. The rooms even come with a pillow menu. During the day, I explored Guiyang's streets and alleys, sampling various spicy dishes, and at night, I returned to the heights to quietly admire the city's night view. Janice from guest relations was also very attentive. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back again if I have the chance!

The hotel boasts a great location right in the Hunter shopping district, making dining and shopping super convenient. The room offered expansive views and was impeccably clean. A special shout-out to Ula—whenever I had questions during my stay, she was quick to respond, gentle, patient, and handled everything with great care and attention to detail. Having such a thoughtful staff member truly brought a lot of warmth to my journey. When I visit Guiyang again, this hotel will definitely be my top choice.

The hotel has a classic, older feel, and the room decor is somewhat dated. Also, the lobby is on the 55th floor while the guest rooms are below it, so you always have to go up to the 55th floor first and transfer to another elevator to reach your room, which is quite inconvenient. That said, the location and high-floor views are truly fantastic. The family suite has a very spacious bathroom and directly faces Jiaxiu Tower. Soaking in the tub or sitting by the bay window in the in-room coffee nook while enjoying the view was deeply relaxing. When it was time to check out, I really didn't want to leave that view behind. The room included afternoon tea. Since the executive lounge was closed, it was upgraded to a breakfast buffet; the food quality was average, though there was a wide variety of options.

The 55th-floor sky lobby is a scenic spot in itself; standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the Nanming River winding through the city and the distant mountains faintly in view. Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping is all in one place. You can walk right out to Hunter Plaza or take a stroll to Jiaxiu Tower. Janice provided excellent service, and the hotel has convenient parking on the first floor. The location is great, and check-in was quick and efficient, with a warm welcome.

For my trip to Guiyang, I chose the Sofitel Guiyang Hunter and absolutely loved how the hotel perfectly blended French romance with local charm – it definitely wasn't one of those cookie-cutter places. The room was quiet with excellent soundproofing, so even though we were in the city center, we heard no noise at night. Waking up and opening the curtains to the layered cityscape of Guiyang was just wonderful. A perfect holiday experience!

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, steps away from the Hunter business district, and within walking distance of Jiaxiu Tower. Our high-floor room offered expansive views, and the city nightscape was beautiful in the evening. Overall, the service was attentive and complete, making it a very convenient place to stay for travel. I highly recommend it to friends visiting Guiyang.

I stayed in a magnificent suite at Sofitel Guiyang Hunter Hotel. The layout was comparable to a presidential suite, with the bedroom and living room separate and clearly demarcated, offering excellent privacy. The room itself was spacious and grand. Located on the 50th floor, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely stunning view. The Nanming River gracefully winds through the city, and Jiaxiu Tower stands serenely by its banks. The layered cityscape of this mountain city was all visible, allowing me to admire Guiyang's unique blend of mountains, rivers, and urban scenery without even leaving the room. The convenient location and superb accommodation experience make this an excellent choice for a trip to Guiyang.

In the evening, I watched the sunset slowly spread over the Nanming River. The bedding was so soft it felt like sinking into clouds. After returning from a walk through the Minsheng Road night market, Janice from guest relations was incredibly warm and attentive; her service was outstanding. The hotel truly enhanced the relaxed vibe of my trip. I would definitely come back to Guiyang just for this hotel.
