Sofitel Guiyang Hunter

Staying at the Sofitel Guiyang Hunter was absolutely worth it! The room view was truly amazing; I could see the street scene as soon as I opened the curtains, and it was especially beautiful when the city lights came on in the evening. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the cleanliness was reassuring. Lisa provided incredibly thoughtful service, explaining all the facilities in detail during check-in and being readily available whenever I needed anything. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering both local snacks and a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, so I could try something different every day without repetition. The experience was truly outstanding. Rabby made the check-out process quick and efficient. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

Sofitel's location is absolutely perfect! It's within walking distance of Qingyun Market and Jiaxiu Tower, and right outside there are tons of local snack shops for Changwang noodles, Laoguo, and more. Janice from Guest Relations was incredibly helpful and practical, actively recommending restaurants that locals frequent. The service was excellent, and the elevator attendant provided stellar service too. Transportation is very convenient; taking a taxi to Qianling Mountain or the White House isn't expensive. This hotel truly takes care of all your dining, accommodation, and entertainment needs in one place!

The service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a wide variety, especially the local specialty sticky rice with crispy fried pork, which was delicious. The lobby is on the 55th floor. They even upgraded our room for free. This is a very comfortable hotel to stay in. It's also just a 15-minute walk to Minsheng Road Snack Street. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Even though I arrived quite late, Janice from guest relations had everything sorted out, including a thoughtful welcome fruit platter and local travel tips. The room view was stunning. I was pleasantly surprised to find local specialties like prickly pear drinks and even 'Zhe Er Gen' (Houttuynia cordata) snacks in the mini-bar – those little details really show their care. The hotel is conveniently located near the business district, making it easy for meetings and getting around. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. Stellar even gave me a lovely little gift at check-out. It's quiet, clean, and definitely my top choice.

Booked a river view room and the view was indeed fantastic, especially at night! 👍 The room was comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent – stable temperature and very quiet. The bedding was cozy, and breakfast was quite rich.

I heard that Macron stayed at a Sofitel during his business trip to Guangzhou before, so when I found out there was a Sofitel in Guiyang, I finally got to experience French luxury myself. The hotel lobby on the 55th floor offers a magnificent view, including Jiaxiu Tower. The music, aroma, and decor—the whole ambiance just exudes French elegance. The breakfast buffet was incredibly diverse, featuring local Guiyang specialties like sticky rice and tofu pudding, alongside a variety of French breads. You can even pack leftovers to go! During my stay, I reported a small issue, and the staff quickly responded by providing a TV casting device and disposable bathtub liners. An engineer also adjusted the central air conditioning to a more comfortable temperature. The service was truly exceptional.

If you're coming to Guiyang, you absolutely have to stay at the Sofitel Hunter! The location is simply divine! It's right above Hunter Plaza, and you can walk to Jiaxiu Tower in just a few minutes. All your shopping, dining, and sightseeing needs are covered, with zero hassle for getting around. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; Cat Xiaohan from the staff was super enthusiastic throughout our stay, proactively recommending local delicacies. The turndown service and welcome fruit platter showed amazing attention to detail, and responses were super quick. Rabby at the executive lounge was so welcoming and friendly, especially with children! The 55th-floor sky lobby has an incredible ambiance, and the room views are absolutely stunning. We had such a comfortable and worry-free stay. Seriously, if you're visiting Guiyang, book this place with your eyes closed – you won't be disappointed!

The pull-out sofa bed for families has a metal piece sticking out, which is extremely dangerous. An adult directly hit it when getting into bed and got a bruise. The bed is super hard, and the sink is on the balcony, making it incredibly hot!!
