Jufa Hotel Salzburg

Our stay at JUFA Hotel Salzburg City was incredibly warm and pleasant. We booked a family suite, and although the actual interior space wasn't particularly large, it was cleverly laid out and fully functional. The natural wood decor created a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The most delightful surprise was the superb view from the window – opening it revealed the majestic Hohensalzburg Fortress in all its glory. Whether bathed in morning light or under the evening sky, the castle view was picturesque and added a romantic touch to our entire stay. The hotel's location is truly fantastic. It's just a ten to fifteen-minute walk to key Old Town attractions like Mozart's Birthplace, Getreidegasse, and the Cathedral. The walk itself is beautiful and perfect for a leisurely stroll. Even more thoughtful, the hotel provides guests with free public transportation tickets for the duration of their stay. This made getting around by bus incredibly convenient, saving us the hassle of figuring out tickets and giving us the flexibility to hop on a bus whenever we got tired, especially with family in tow. Combining castle views, walking convenience, and excellent perks, it's a truly value-for-money and inviting base for exploring Salzburg.

The hotel's location is quite close to Salzburg Fortress, but further from the train station. The room itself was small and a bit cramped. However, the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. After check-in, you'll receive a free Salzburg city transport card in your email, which is great because it covers all public buses, and even some buses heading to the lake district – super convenient!

The hotel has its own parking, which is reasonably priced. The environment is nice, a bit secluded but quiet!

The price is affordable, but the hairdryer in the room was inconvenient to use; it would automatically shut off after about 30 seconds. Also, the air conditioning wasn't strong enough, making the room feel stuffy and hot.
