The Pines Melaka

I was really happy to get a room without AC noise. The room was super spacious, but the bathroom was tiny, with the toilet awkwardly tucked into a narrow space at the back. The key card was a pain; it constantly failed when trying to get into the elevator or my room, meaning I had to keep going down to reception to get it reset! Breakfast was decent. You definitely need a taxi to get to places like Jonker Street. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to Central Station. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs and a food court-like place across the street. I stayed here for both nights in Melaka because I couldn't be bothered to move. The room had a river view, so overall it was pretty good, but there was nowhere to hang clothes to dry. The hangers were the kind that are fixed inside the wardrobe, probably to stop people from stealing them.

This hotel is truly underrated. Out of my entire trip to Malacca, the best impressions weren't the attractions, but this hotel and the big supermarket, haha. First off, the hotel is very modern, and the facilities exceeded my expectations. It also offers excellent value for money. Just by looking at the signage, you can tell the owners have a strong sense of design. Highly recommended!

My stay at The Pines Melaka was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent, making it super easy to get to Jonker Street by taxi. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs, which is great for grabbing food or anything else you need. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and it had all the amenities, with a pretty nice view too. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in and check-out quick and seamless. The hotel also has a pool, a quiet atmosphere, and a wide variety of breakfast options. Overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for both family trips and independent travelers. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Melaka. Highly recommended!
